Hi all,

Recently bought a new (to me) tractor with a loader. This is my first time having a loader so I have zero clue about attachment types. Could someone help me identify the loader type? Trying to get a bale spike. Thanks in advance for the help!

That’s a fairly poor quality picture you have up but it looks like a chilton or mailleux headstock.

What model of loader is it on?

I'd replace that head stock with a Euro hitch as it will make any future implement purchases simpler.

But I think @DBK1 has identified it correctly. I have a mailleux loader but it was already fitted with a universal euro hitch when I purchased it.

yep. Definitely replace with euro hook bracket. Makes everything practical universal then.

It should be a bolt off bolt on replacement, but you may want to check dimensions. I've had no issue with mine but some on here have claimed they are too light. There may be an OEM headstock available for your loader or you could get one made up by a local engineering firm.

What size tractor is in on or what are you planning on doing with the loader apart from feeding bales?

Is there a EURO head for old style quicke.. I suppose its a standard thing and you just put brackets at correct width?

its a 75hp mitsubishi tractor. Will likely only use the loader for bales
