An Post National N stamp price increasing from €1.25 to €1.35 from 1st February.

Books of 10 are still available to purchase for €11, so €1.10 per stamp. Might suit those who post regularly!

As per their website "

Any stamps bearing the 'N' denomination will automatically represent the 'national' postage rate of the day.

The 1st N stamps appeard in £3 (€3.81) stamp booklets in 2001. They could be used today if one still had them.

Yes and the same with your international W stamps. Was a great move as once they started raising prices they just going yearly so it got annoying needing sheets of 5-cent or 10-cent stamps to make the difference.

Remember, stamps can be used for their "value", a W stamp has a value of 2.75 and can be used for posting small packets combined with N stamps and also specific value stamps (we keep a few 30c stamps handy)
