Can someone explain to me why 'Payment via revolut only' is required.
Doesn't Revolut accounts have an IBAN. Why can't regular transfers be made. I know someone else posted that you can create a link in Revolut to facilitate the transfer.
You're probably right but I'm being lazy and couldn't be arsed doing anything else. Feel free to do it whatever way you want when setting one up.

We're drifting a bit from the IT subscription but, to add onto the previous comment, Le Monde are doing an offer of full years full access to the English edition plus the NYT for €32.99. I was looking for offers on the French version, but there's nothing there (yet anyway). English version is quite good all the same

Thinking of getting the digital premium access, plan would be to have it on on my phone & ipad ( to read the paper each day is that covered?), cost is 95eu for the yr, how many more people can get access, and anyone interested in joining me? Cost will be divided between each access i presume

I rang IT last night to ask if I buy now at BF discounted price, can the activation be deferred do it can be given as a Christmas gift. They said no, but wondering if that's true?
Yes to login and sharing. Correct that you cannot defer start date. But if it's a gift, I doubt the user will complain about losing <30 days access.

I had this for 84 last year, they auto renewed at 135, they are playing hardball when i asked them to cancel citing their T&Cs (that they never sent) and that it should have been obvious it was auto renewing!
Ill take them to the SCC if they wont cancel. Or potentially i could share the sub i guess save the hassle.
As an aside does anyone else use Adguard home and have an issue where you cant login to the irish times website if adguard is on, its very strange.
Don't think they need to send them to you. They are presented at the time of sign up and you agree them. Every subscription is auto renew unless cancelled.

Thanks for the valuable input. i barely use it, its not worth 135 quid to me and he is able to turn off auto renew for next year so its clearly not necessarily auto renew unless cancelled.
Some adblockers do block parts of a page that are required to show cookie warning etc.
Best solution is the chrome extension which doesnt require a login
Right i am stuck with this 12 month sub to the Irish Times for the moment, if a few people are interested in sharing it ill keep it, paid full price unfortunately so have 4 spots free. Paid up to 25th November 2026.
