phenomenal value on this site at the minute for its november sales if you are a premium member (just a case of signing up to their newsletter basically) - endorphin speed 5 for €120, endorphin pro 4 for €150, takumi sen 11 for €120, neo vista 2 for €102 etc. I don't need any shoes at the minute but very, very tempting to stock up on a couple of pairs for 2026
Black Friday discount on Sportsshoes.com now. Got a pair of Endorphin Speed 5 for €128 delivered. Code is BF25
have any of you who ordered from sportsshoes on the Black Friday deals got your shoes yet?
Ordered Nov 14th, shipped 15th. And then no tracking update since
Had multiple emails with them over a pair of shoes that were marked delivered but actually weren't. Their tracking seems all over the place right now.
it’s left sportsshoes, and GLS say they haven’t received it for Irish delivery yet, meaning it’s somewhere with evri in the uk.
They said they’ll send a replacement if necessary, as it’s been 12 days for ‘4-day express EU delivery’
always found sportsshoes use to sit in Heathrow for a few days. I’d always us to play 8 days with them. Haven’t both since September from them and it was normal but that’s before fastway went bang
With my order, the EVRI and GLS reference were not for my order. I contacted support and they gave me a completely different tracking reference. Even when I received the updated reference, GLS had it marked as delivered. It was several hours later that it was actually delivered. A complete mess.
Pegasus 41 available for 70 on Nike app in certain colours. Might not be the most exciting shoe going but a decent daily trainer that should last for ages. Good daily trainer for that price
Ha, just came to post this. Just ordered my 3rd pair in the last 9 months. I think they're a great shoe for long and easy stuff. Rare these days to get a decent shoe for less than e100 too.
Yep…you literally can't go wrong with Pegasus.
I have multiple pairs in various forms of service (based on mileage)...from daily trainer, walking shoes, footwear for training juveniles various sports, and the last rung... gardening shoes 😂
I almost made it through the Black Friday sales without buying trainers but succumbed today to a pair of Zoom Fly's for €107
Evo SLs 90€ in JD, good range of sizes in Jervis at least
I paid €112 and still consider them easily the best value shoe I’ve ever worn
Was it the 'extra wide' that you saw for €70? That's the only one I can see at that price (well, €69.99)
Also, is there any difference between Pegasus 41, Pegasus 41 SE and Pegasus 41 'Eliud Kipchoge'
All available on the Nike store at good, but discount, but some are at a better discount than others.
Also I do a good bit of easy running on grass. Can get muddy at this time iof year. Shoes get dirty, but that does not really bother me. However, because I see them discounted, for grass running in winter is there any actual advantage from the Pegasus 41 Trail range.
Thanks
se is slightly heavier material, more causal style, otherwise they are pretty much the same. The trail would be much better grip for grass running in winter.
Flick through the colours on the normal Pegasus on the app and some are reduced to 69.99. although as above you might prefer the trail ones
The orange and the salmon???? Colours are 69.99. Not many sizes though
I got this pair in Size 8. You need to flick around the colours/sizes a bit to get lucky for the 69.99 pairs.

You're right, when I flick through the colours I find some at €69.99 (e.g. bright pink). Unfortunately none at my size. Thanks for the heads up and the information though. I appreciate it.
Do folk normally size up a half with Adidas compared to others? Looking at the Boston 13 and the 10.5 is showing as 45 1/3 EU and 29cm, with size 11 as 46 EU and 29.5cm
Normally run in Saucony and Puma size 10.5, which are 46 EU and 29.5cm.
My advice is to go with your cm size and generally ignore the rest. So in your case size 11 for Adidas. I am 28.5cm and UK size varies between 9.5 & 10, EU size varies from 44.5 to 45 and US 10.5 to 11.
And to specifically answer your question, I am usually half a size up in Adidas & Asics compared to Saucony & Nike
I'm a 10.5 in Puma and 11 in the Boston 13. Definitely get the 11.
Also check out the Adidas site.
SL2's are bricks versus the Evos
On ordering from the Adidas website, be careful with sizing as they recently rejected a return of a pair of shoes from me for being "Worn/Dirty" and no around of arguing back and forth would get them to issue a replacement.
I had only tried them on inside the house and sent them back. I've never come across such a return policy before. So unless you are 100% sure of your size I would recommend ordering from somewhere else if possible.
That's crazy, I'd be getting onto the CCPC
I did try that but they took all the details and advise you of your rights but they won't mediate directly with the retailer. Your only option is a small claims court challenge.
runnerinn have some Evo SL for €102 delivered. Rude not to :)
Are these a good choice for every day training? Currently use Nike Pegasus and Brooks Ghost, but both need replacing.
The Evo SL are the best daily trainer on the market
The Evo SL is a fantastic shoe but it's not really a daily trainer and is certainly not comparable to the Pegasus and Ghost.
That's a fact, the Pegasus and ghost are not even close. The Evo sl is a perfect daily trainer, the Pegasus and ghost were in 2018 maybe
