Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
I seriously doubt they'll sell out quickly. No main act for GIAF seems to excpet Jenny/Blockrockinbeats.
Not getting involved in the Culchie Wars, but surprised there was demand given the underwhelming reception they got from anyone I had contact with who was at EP!

I'm confused, have they kot been running gigs there for years, and weren't IDLES annouced for there the other day so the forst one has already come out?

Belsonic has always been held in August at Custom House Square (though in 2016 it was moved to Titanic Slipway). IDLES, Stiff Little Fingers, the Proclaimers and a couple of others have been announced for the usual August slots. These June shows seem to be going under the Summer Series brand. Seems a bit crazy as June is the month that we have all the big outdoor shows at Ormeau Park.

Your first post here? Not great, to be honest. Seems like a poor attempt at uncalled for (and unjustified) snobbery. We like/dislike all kinds of music in this thread, to varying extents, and geographical mud-slinging is not usually enlightening in any way. Throwing insults at the fans of a particular artist doesn't add much to life. Slag the artist if you like, but it's questionable why anyone would try to "other" people who like that artist.
