So…presales are on. How confident are we all feeling?
both him and father John are regular Irish visitors. Don’t think they will help shift tickets that quick.
Every year garners a big 'meh' from me. This one is no different.
I was a big Caribou fan but I haven't listened to the latest album after I found out that all the vocals were AI generated.
Really? Why, ffs?
The sounds was augmented and manipulated by AI rather than the lyrics written by AI but yeah, I've steered clear as well.
It was him singing but using female filter
Not too bad a line up announcement, but I've seen most of the acts before, probably seen Caribou as many times as Kneecap now. Soulwax should be good haven't seen them I suppose since 2010. There will be more additions hopefully some good kicking techno and electronica stuff. Hope to make it for the third time next year. I see Mr Scruff is in there too always a good act. I'm hearing good reports about the Cliffords so will check them out, Kormac is always a buzz and a few interesting DJs in there too.
First festival had James Vincent McMorrow and Lisa Hannigan on the 2nd line, along with plenty of other Irish and international "indie" acts. Don't see this year as any different tbh, looks like exactly the same booking policy to me.
As ever, line up is not our primary motivation for going to this fest but I am glad that Soulwax have carried over after not being able to play last year. Love the Dewaele bros as 2manydjs but the full offering of Soulwax is supurb.
I'll still be looking forward to Bouncing about sampling all the mid and lower announcements still to come.
Was it not 2023 when Soulwax cancelled their BTP gig I'm sure Orbital was their replacement.
it was yeah, they played as 2ManyDJs only that year.
Christian Loffler is a really nice addition.
Subject have confirmed they are back with the Saturday night tent takeover on Instagram.
Miss Kittin will be one of the acts - rest of line-up coming soon.
Ela Minus is a great booking, her recent album is one of the best of the year for me. I really like TSHA's first album too. I would imagine Caribou will likely do a Daphni set too.
Oh **** are the years all blending in to one for me now? 😳
This is great news
No, it was 2024.
new daphni album out in new year, will def do a dj set.
yeah you're right, it was the one before the last one, so last year, 2024.
Seen him in the tent in 2023, it was a brilliant set. Very memorable
Bahay going in on festival organisers on Instagram
What are they saying? Any screenshots or pictures? Don't have an Instagram

Jesus shameful stuff. Bahay had mentioned in a recent newspaper article that Beyond the Pale had held onto €10k of its sales income from hosting a feast at festival.
Sorry for the ignorance, who are BAHAY?
Irish chef/caterer. On British tv a bit. Beyond the pale had them host a festival feast and didn’t pay them the money over and nearly bankrupted the catering company as a result.
Argh. Will end in tears. Bahay are beloved around town. Good people.
In the words of The The, 'and the whole Goddamned thing starts..all over..again..
I see they are also moving to Ticketshafter, sorry master, for all sales as of tomorrow... (previously ticketbooth)
Has BTPs policy around free-flow been confirmed for 2026?
