Always came across as doing her homework on the teams she was covering and seemed to have way more insight into the tactical side of things compared to some of the other panelists.

Except Ogbene - I would argue. Kenny really pushed him on. Can’t see other managers picking him that early. But Kenny knew him from the LOI. Skyrocketing Ogbene’s career
The majority of Kenny’s other picks would have made it through no matter who the manager was. I think anyway. Unless someone can point out any obvious ones I am missing?
It is an awful shame Kenny got himself wrapped up in that “philosophy” bollix. Worst part the media and some delusional fans encouraged him! And the amount of corners Kenny went around he was doing circles! All those “turned the corner” articles from the likes of his mate Lisa Fallon. Worse in hindsight!
Great to have a manager with some common sense, even HH’s interviews are refreshing. Honest, more articulate than Kenny, and very clear.
Most Stephen Kenny interviews didn’t project confidence. The opposite in fact. You would be feeling sorry for the man.
Great to have a manager who looks and sounds like a leader win/lose/draw. And with clear practical direction.

I just watched the last goal once again and when you see it from the high up camera looking straight at the goals it's so funny how the Irish players all react to the goal at the exact same time and in the exact same manner. The Hungarian players all just freeze.

Leonard at the back's been very impressive too, and Solanke at left back gets into good attacking positions as well. Quite a decent team all round, great to see.
Finernan in midfield, umeh on left wing and Noonan in centre forward but it’s a pretty balanced team rather than one powered by one magic man
