Dublin is sold out so won’t affect any summer announcement. Indeed all their April UK and Ireland shows are sold out.

All over Interpol / Bloc Party. Do the posters change venue to venue in the way it was said that it looks like Interpol headlining in Dublin? Guess it doesn't really matter but just out of curiosity.

then the Belfast and Dublin shows in April will probably be it for them here next year. Arena shows that close to summer usually rule out festivals.

Same. I really enjoyed them. Never thought I'd ever hear those songs live. I think the crowd were annoyed with Lydon cos he kept insulting people and the band stopped playing twice if I'm right. I didn't care, the beer and tunes were top notch.
Before them I'd spent the evening in the EA - Sinéad, Grinderman and My Bloody Valentine. So spoiled back then.
Christy Moore playing his annual Marquee gig next June. No disrespect to him but could nearly predict half of the Marquee line up at this rate. Think they could try be a bit more adventurous but if it works for them why change it sure..

Was at megadeth last Weds 22nd - traffic a nightmare , took 3 hrs from work to the Point, (normally take 2 ish hrs)running in the door as tbe band came on at 7.
Up at john Bishop last night - 3.5 hrs this time... absolute stupid city to try navigate through/around....
no parking , car parks booked up.... one way, no entry, road works , buses all over the road , gobdaws on scooters, those fupping rickshaws....
Bishop was brilliant though.... made up for the travel stress....
it’s an expensive tent to operate in a empty lot. They have lost their wallets on not exactly adventurous bookings like kraftwerk. Sadly non adventurous is what pays the bills.

What vauge region are you coming from, i'm in limerick on work days so its 30 mins to get to the dublin side of the city for me and about 2.30 from there to the 3arena
Their gig in The Workmans years ago was insanely good! Fond memories of being terrified and surviving a wall of death.
Haven't really kept up to date with them but hopefully the energy is still there. Will definitely go to this one

The Prodigy announcement will probably be a gig for St. Anne’s or Malahide, they’ve 4 gigs each confirmed for 2026 while Marlay & Fairview each have 6 confirmed
Was up at Turnstile last night brilliant gig, but had the maddest exchange with Ticketmaster,
I originally had a physical ticket for the national stadium gig and was told repeatedly via Ticketmaster it would be honoured as the change of venue had nothing to do with me, shows get upgraded all the time and never had this issue,
Drove up from Cork, arrived at the venue, I was pulled from the queue & informed I had a fake ticket first and go to box office, did that they also told me I had a fake ticket, told them it was rescheduled and that had fxck to bit to do with me, they claimed then they voided all the national stadium tickets, showed them my emails where they said it would be honoured and the Ticketmaster app where I could sell the ticket there and then asking how was it voided and I could sell it, the excuses from them were pure gaslighting,
was denied access to the venue unless I bought another ticket there and then, figuring I drove from Cork I did as I had no choice,
Went in anyway and dawned on me it was their fxck up completely that they didn't provide me with a QR code for the new date, spoke to other people who said they also had physical tickets and they were made to buy another,
Has this ever happened to any of ye I've been going gigs 10+ years and I've never dealt with that level of crap in my life, I've opened a dispute with Ticketmaster over denial of service ( I understand nothing will come of it), you buy a ticket for a show they upgrade the venue and make you buy another ticket
Annoyingly you'll get a quicker resolution if you ring Liveline.
