I wonder if the music in the actual Lord of the Dance show is as bad as that used in the radio ad.
The Aviva ad with the Kute Kid.
Finally this week John Bishop will **** off , still flogging a dead horse for a gig taking place this week
The "Reverse the Trend" advert
Oh my gosh Girl you look amazing………..Blah blah
Sharing clothes with your Friends is trending…….. Reverse the trend…..
I don't think they thought the ad the whole way through
"Where'd ya gerreh?" 🙄
Mary,I finally got rid of Mick ….. aaaaarrrrrggghhhh
Foxford coming in with the Aldi version of the Barry's tea ad with an auld lad chatting about Christmas memories. It's a blatant rip off of the style and doesn't hit.
"I wanted to go to Antarctica"..
Uncle "Porc" in the "Neee-san" (Nissan) ad sounds like a right pretentious twat.
Uncle Porc is it a boy or girl? the child has never said anything is mighty before , so its Maiitee, uncle Porc is obviously the uncle from the sticks and Dad is the young Turk who got out of roscommon up to Dublin to university, now has three kids and bought in a leafy south Dublin area like Raneleigh or Rathgar, the kids firmly in the south Dublin bubble.
I WANT A KEVIN SHARKEY PAINTING said no woman ever.
Have they retired the Barry's tea Christmas ad?
I can't recall if I heard it last year or not. Both of the male voices on it, Peter Caffrey as the father and Emmet Bergin on voiceover, are of course dead now
There's a Foxford blanket ad doing the rounds for those missing the Barry's Tea schmaltz.
Voice-over sounds slightly creepy though.
What's with hotel chains now calling themselves a "collection?"
Notions.
Haven't heard either Rhinestone's 'would m'lady care to dance' or Barry's Christmas ads, hopefully both are retired, not yet entirely fed up with the Foxford smaltz (possibly not on such high rotation yet).
That Kevin Sharkey one is brutal.
M'lady has appeared on newstalk!
I hate that foxford ad with a passion and makes me miss the Barrys tea ad.
Has anyone heard the ad for viagra with "Santa" singing a jingle about that one time he was left frustrated? It was on non stop yesterday. I had to turn the radio off. Cringe is too small a word to describe it.
The Boots TV ad does not transfer well to radio - hearing "ohh, Puss" without the visual context of a cat is a bit off-putting.
Ronnie Delaney was back first thing on December 1st with his annual Christmas appeal
Supermacs festive burger ad.
A very refined sounding man who then proceeds to talk with his mouth full.
Rotten
I like the Barry's tea ad, yet to hear it this year tho.
It must cost them an absolute fortune to run it however. Run tine must be close to two minutes. They probably have to buy the equivalent of 4 ad slots each time it goes out.
Barry's Tea klaxon, Newstalk just now.
Longer ads get a slight discount compared to buying the same number of slots; but that ad is definitely expensive
So it's back? Good. I like it too.
Is the Foxford Wool advert trying to copy it but making a poor job of it?
Barry's tea ad on during radio one, arena just now. All is well with the world.
It is. And it doesn't help that it sounds like he's swallowing the microphone.
Just heard the Barry's tea ad. Christmas 2025 Achievement Unlocked.
It's supposed to be a parody of David Attenborough.
Tesco "giving the power to more"
Will ye ever feck off with this barely literate crap.
