What memories of Gaiety Green? For its time it was a mad looking place to a youngster like me in the late 70s- the Joke Shop was based there before moving to beside the gaiety theatre - there was a shop selling cowboy boots - the shop itself was in the style of a wooden saloon - after that I just can’t recall what else was there but it was such a cool place - the Dandelion market took place at the weekends there- before I knew that, on a weekday, I spent about an hour one day looking for ….the Dandelion Market 😀
