Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
Ah great stuff. I was under the impression the Cellar was just closing down rather than being given a refurb. Delighted if that's the case. I do like it down there.
I suppose they're being smart with the reduced dates so you will have a lot of people trying if they are in the rest of Europe so could end up selling better. Also guessing his voice can't do big tours.
Can't see standing tickets being less than 90-100 euro
Yea they prob had no choice with the reduced dates , they were never gonna do those massive venues multiple times so it's less work for them if they pull it off
Just noticed Ditz on there, they were on my list for GM, lost out to clashes. Liked the sound of them, noisy feckers, I'd say they'll be impressive in a small space. A bit of Model/Actriz, a bit of Sprints, a bit of Gilla Band.....
They might have printed 80,000 but they definitely didn't sell 80,000
gigs and tours UK seem to be teasing Foo Fighters gigs ???
also anyone else hear another 5 dates could be added for Westlife at the 3Arena ??
They've announced a new single coming tomorrow, dunno if tour announcement to go with it
As already said in this thread days ago, if you wanted to go for free on their second night you could, they weren't selling the tickets.
Chalk, Button Factory, Friday 15th May. In Belfast Limelight the following night. They won't be getting anymore of my hard earned but there's a few here who'll be interested.

Too big?
What’s the reason they won’t be getting any more of your hard earned?
I got free tickets to Bon Jovi night 2 last time in the RDS. Crap gig. Pissed rain, terrible set up at RDS and just a bit boring from Mr Jovi to be honest.
Four of us got freebies and all said we wouldnt see him again.
That's right … I remember being offered some freebies but didn't bother. Last saw them was in 1990 in The Point Depot. Had no interest in them after that.
Was there in 2019... bon jovi.
His voice was fcuked back then...
hi folks, for a big gig, for example at Croke park when there is both an Artist presale and a MCD presale(which pretty much the whole country has these days) and they both start at the same time say 10.00 am, once in the queue for either of these Presales when the 10.00 start time arrives does everyone go in the one big queue for the tickets or is there a separate queue for the 2 different presales and an allocation of tickets for each, quite often the Artists presale is at a different time to MCD but some of them are now the same.
True, but they still sold what? 50k? 60k? Throw in a load of big event whores and they'll do ok.
Different allocations, normally. If they're at the same time try to join both on different devices
I'm sure it'll do fine, yeah. But I'm also fairly sure tickets will be cheap in the days leading up to it, I'm prepared to gamble on that anyway
Foo Fighters playing here?
I see that concert celebrity account said major gig news coming today and so I assume there’s gig rumours on some other forum somewhere that they’ve ripped off
I thought it was only a new single for FF today, but certainly looks like some form of tour announcement too for them. I saying that, have only seen Canadian teasers, so may not include Europe if it does happen
I would have thought Croke Park was beyond Bon Jovi these days. I said the same about Robbie Williams and he seemed to do OK there this year. Saw Bon Jovi back in 2019 so I'll probably skip this one.
I think the post that should hopefully link below answers this. Also @Granite Head
New single and tour announcement, several stadiums in the states/Canada confirmed so far, phillly, clevleland, Saskatchewan, Vancouver, Toronto and Edmonton.
With several european based promotors sharing the single announment i expect a euro tour for 26 also if not announced until next week or the week after however but they may just pull the trigger if the dates are leaking anyway
how exactly do these free tickets come about? Do you have to know somebody, and be in Dublin on the day? Or do they pop up on ticketmaster as €0?
I got some too, fairly certain they were on the 3+ app
Used to happen a bit for 3arena gigs too, but seems to have been stopped a while now
Mcd used to have an email address for competitions where all you needed to do was send your name address and phone number with the gig you were entering for, turns out if you just sent emails with every show in the header, you'd often get a nice surprise.
If radio stations start giving away tickets every day/hour they always have tonnes to offload.
Singular Artists still give free tickets to their mailing list of a show undersells, worth signing up with them
Also got freebie for Bon Jovi. Went mainly for the Manics.
The main thing I recall about Bon Jovi is the big screens advertising his Bon Jovi sauce and Bon Jovi Cruise before the gig. Felt like a terrible corporate event.
During their Whelans gig i realised that they were shite. All style and no substance with a newly acquired dollop of cheese into the bargain. That was my third time seeing them so i decided it was time to bow out.
Edit; just noticed that @CoffeeImpala has already answered the above post. Cheers.
