Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
I said this last year but I genuinely can't recommend this little festival enough, both years have been cracking and I'm sure this will be no different.
From €67
Haven't heard of it before and not aware of the acts but is it pitched as a here's the next big things?
more so a small great escape with a mix of international acts and Irish. Whereas whelans next big thing weekender is Irish only
Cheers, might look into this - something to look forward to in an otherwise quiet Feb for me.
Yeah that's it, a good mix of acts as Fanirish has said. In recent years I've seen Fat Dog, Lambrini Girls, Anthony Szmeirek, Cardinals, and Maruja who have all gone on to varying levels of popularity.
Does Fairview have a front standing section? Sure it did a few years ago, only Standing showing for Weller but there's no site map to check on TM
Sounds great - gonna give this a go!
Yeah, saw Being Dead there last year, Westside Cowboy, both played to big crowds at Green Man. Fantastic festival.
This year it was just if you went up tp the left or right of the stage and asked for a wristband. They had a certain amount theyd give out each day.
She shouldn't have been put there in the first place, obvious last mi ute booking to pad oit the schedule around Glastonbury. Tickets went in seconds.
Apologies if this shouldn't be posted in here but does anyone know the stage times for Richard hawley tonight in the Olympia?
From the Olympia;
"Approximate stage times as follows: doors open 7pm, support from Tom Hickox around 7.45pm to 8.15pm, with Richard Hawley due on stage about 8.45pm. We expect the show to be over around 11pm or so."
I saw him in Blackpool last month. Your in for an absolute treat
Is the Workman's Cellar out of action now? Presume they'll still be able to use it for this though? Don't know how they'd work it otherwise.

Wannabe itk my foot
Bon Jovi for Croker 30th August
Gonna be pretty empty no?
My guess is that'll sell out or 75k plus, cant think of a recent massive gig that a promoter has fucked up size why
Oooof
What an apt username 😂
I have genuinely no idea. I was surprised to see Borderline return given the struggles of the workmans so it remains to be seen how they'll set up.
Damn it thought @ledwithhedwith was having us on (only banter)
Didn't expect Croke Park but think it will sell as it's a 'mammy's favourite' is Jon and a nice end to the summer. Then the 'Living On a prayer' brigade etc
No mention of support, Manics back in 2019 was excellent
Is it a farewell tour ?
Haha was funny , didnt wanna quite say , how did you manage to guess it? I think if they get the pricing right theyll sell it out. It would be one ill check the weather forecast a few days beforehand and make a call😂 whisperings of a farewell tour - maybe if the sales struggle it will be announced as one!
The blurb has them across four stages. Two in the Workman's and Cube & Space Upstairs in Project Arts Centre.
Either the renovation in the cellar is expected to be finished and available for use or they'll be putting some small bands somewhere on the first floor.
It all added up
Don't think I'll ever see Macca at this point
Bon Jovi last performed in Dublin almost six years ago, when their sold-out This House Is Not for Sale tour came to the RDS in June 2019.
Bon Jovi last performed in Dublin almost six years ago, when their sold-out
This House Is Not for Sale
tour came to the RDS in June 2019.
It wasnt sold out, second night was a bomb, MCD gave away thousands of tickets.
Ticket prices range from €82.25 - €161.25 plus booking fees, so 90-171 euro inc fees.
Seems alot, always sold well enough in Ireland and its a 7 year gap so should do ok.
Sold about 80,000 tickets in the RDS over 2 nights in 2019.
Saw him in rds a long time ago, dont think hes been back since , ya never know but may have to get over to UK
Yea heard 2nd night didnt, I just dont think they royally **** these big ones up anymore , dont see anything under 75k at it , its been a while too which helps
