Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Sexytadhg is awesome live, not one that was on my radar based on what I had heard but came across him at EP and loved it. Meryl Streak decent and Qbaana worth a listen if nothing else on
It’s a curtained show. They never put the back half upstairs on sale at all. Plenty of seats in centre blocks upstairs like C and E. I’m sure those will shift in next month but the seats closer to the walls will probably be empty.
Back section were on sale last week when i went looking for my niece, I'm going myself and she wanted seats near me and i was surprised to see them available as i thought it was curtained off also
Anyone looking for some repetition and noise on Saturday night should pop along to see Afterwardness in Curveball. Ex-members of The Idiots, Petlamb and Female Hercules. I've enjoyed them the couple of times i've seen them. If i wasn't busy i'd be at it myself. Only a tenner; https://buttonfactory.ie/shows/2025/10/18/afterwardness
Did you go after and what did you think if so?
Yeah it was really good. They had a good crowd which always helps. We all had different favorites after the set and the single is really catchy. Enjoyed it alright. Only a guitarist could get away with that outfit in public.
Were far better than when I saw them last year too. Can’t wait for whenever the put out a ep/album. Think once they actually have material out the gigs will be great. Thought Brooki was excellent too

How is that lineup only €12?!
Hmm... so much on that week but it's really tempting 🙈
Are we classing the House of Guinness as an event? It's certainly doing its bit for Irish music!
dunno who’s buying the tickets
Forgot about Other Voices today. 3 o clock an awkward fecker of a time. Between nabbing tickets and sorting accommodation, I may never get there. Would absolutely love to experience it.
presume its impossible to get tickets?
the church is invite only apart from a few rigged competitions
Yeah, I was only looking for tickets to the music trail, the pub gigs. I think the church is invite only?
Edit: ....as posted above. Soz.
I was talking to an in law who's a big fan (you'd think these things would be checked before the wedding) and she said it's all people her age who are now buying tickets for their daughters and its an intergenerational night out. Sounds like a form of abuse to me but then again I had my daughter at Obituary the other night.
Why rigged?
Yes I suspected this
pretty self explanatory.
the lads must always be sweating about who is going to show up with a kid in tow “You owe me 20 years child support for this one here, you bollix”
Not really, that's why I asked. They could always do guestlist for the various hangers on/media that get tickets without using the competition tickets presumably.
agh posted in the '26 thread. looks like fred again is teasing a dublin show…. anyone heard anything?
next week 3 arena
ah was talk of rds! gonna be bedlam trying to get a standing ticket
3 arena is pretty full next week, think its only sunday free
Announced next week for 2026?
Would love a standalone Barry Can't Swim show too at some point.
nope. Announced and on next week
Wow!
sponsors/organisers have to be seen to give tickets away and competitions helps social media activity. there is only a few dozen seats in the church so naturally the dozen or so reserved for competition winners always end up in friends of sponsors marketing teams/friend of other voice voices crew
There should be an investigation into all the hoofling and skullduggery going on with ticket distribution in Ireland.
