Kraftwerk have announced a date in Dublin for 2026.
I saw them in this theatre the last time, perfect venue for this band.
Waterfront hall has great acoustics.
There's mention of a Three pre-sale on the Ticketmaster page for Dublin but don't see any mention of it on the 3Plus page where their pre-sale codes usually are. And I didn't think Three did pre-sales for Bord Gais anyway?
Saw them in the same venue the last time they were here and such an amazing show. Although I'm guessing this is going to be almost exactly the same show except I think they now use a big LED screen instead of projections.
This was updated in last day or so, its a BG Rewards presale now, allthough i did not see anything about a presale on my BG rewards account
It will almost certainly be the same setlist as they've been playing since forever. Not sure if the visuals have changed much since 2017 either. Honestly very disappointing they are dialling it in.
only difference is the 3d element is gone.
the only worthwhile kraftwerk shows anymore are the Album specific nights they occasionally do in a few select cities
Think I'll still give it a lash. The Trinity show a few years ago was great
Just got one in the artist presale
Stalls row K
148.95 all in 😐️
Oof, that's rather pricey.
I have seen the show 3 times in the last 10 or so years, I think I'll sit this one out. A couple of other presales I'm interested in on Friday…
I’m the same. Had tickets in basket, saw the price and went nope. Too many other gigs and pre sales coming up.
A few rows back the tickets are 105, which given the amount of limited on stage action seems like a better option.
Might have been the better option alright 🙄
I saw the start of this tour in Brussels over the summer. It was superb, check some of the reviews. Heading to Amsterdam to catch it again in December.
Saw Kraftwerk at the second Electric Picnic in 2005, an amazing gig.
Got tickets for upper circle row b. €79.75 each
Got in the presale, saw the price and backed out! Never thought I'd do it for Kraftwerk but 88e was the cheapest I could get. Only 50 in Trinity 2 years ago and it'll just be the same stuff. A shame.
Tbf, there are a few tweaks here and there each time they come around, but to a lot of casual fans, the differences are pretty minimal, and it's basically just a greatest hits set each time.
Might be value for megafans, but as a casual fan, twice is enough for me to have caught them in the last 13 years, so no real interest in splashing out on this.
I'm still of two kinds about this. I went to their last 3 Dublin gigs and they were all great but they were also pretty much the same every time.
200 quid now on Ticketmaster, that is mad money.
I saw them two years ago in a far better venue in Trinity for 56 euro including fees.
I don't want to be stuck in a seat for 2+ hours in a poxy theatre unable to go to the jacks without massive disruption, and unable to bring a pint in.
I mean really and truly, **** this dynamic pricing ****. I'm never going to a gig affected by it.
Im picturing everyone dancing in the seats, can't wait. They were excellent in Trinity a few years ago, and Marley a few years before.
bord Gais is a great venue for them. Last show in that venue was phenomenal and pitch perfect for them. The seats are very comfortable. you won’t need the toilet cause you won’t be drinking
That's not dynamic pricing, those are the set prices. Very few shows in this part of the world actually use dp. But people tend to see the prices and assume it's being used. The pain in the arse here is platinum / vip tickets where you get charged a pile of money for a couple of pieces of tat. Saw Kraftwerk in Belfast last time paid £90 for a brilliant 2nd row seat. Same seat this time is £170 because it falls within the VIP area. For which I would get a tour poster and a venue specific lanyard and laminate.
@Fanirish Having a few pints at a gig is an essential part of the experience 😀 I hardly ever go to the pub, so gigs are a real treat.
And for 200 quid I'd expect the reincarnation of Jesus Christ himself.
Just looked at TM and there is one seat left in row E.
All other seats sold.
To be fair, they were incredible at Bord Gais last time. It’s a great venue for them. It was the 3D show. Most people were up dancing towards the end.
But giving this one a miss. Too pricey. And with Florian gone.
Florian hasn't been with the band since 2008.
He passed away in 2020.
I know but my point is that he left the band nearly a decade before their last performance here.
Tour merch, could be an expensive evening…..
So this gig is finally coming round, only a week away now!
Setlists from the recent shows are online.
I think start time is 8pm?
I'll be there good and early clearing out the merch stall 😃
They've been on heavy rotation on my spotify this week.
Third time seeing them, can't wait for this gig!
