This is very funny. Why would you be so exercised by this? It was a factual statement partially tongue in cheek, but you're reacting like I insulted your first born. .
Never mind that I didn't address my post to you.
Musk fanbois gonna fanboi I suppose.
Are you ok?
You seem to be on a relentless rant spree the last few days.
surely there is a use case to deploy ai to have less crap voice control. I can only speak of Siri on CarPlay but it’s miserable to use.
Siri can be good but I must admit that I only use it for basic things. Call X, send a text message to X saying “X”. It’s great in the car which is where I would use it most.
AI is a learning machine. It’s full of good nuggets and bad nuggets. The end user needs to be able to understand the difference between what’s right and wrong.
I wouldn’t personally rely on AI but it gives a good steer on the topic that you’re asking about.
Like it or not, it’s here to stay and it’s being implemented into everyday life with chatbots, DoneDeal, major brands of products etc
misquote
Specially for the people hard of understanding, I added in my post that I do NOT use Grok. I find it inferior. I use other products. This is the opposite of the definition of a fan. But I guess even putting it as simple as I can, this is too overwhelming for some 🙄
Voice control is brutal, from any provider. I barely use any of it. Just in my home with some simple Alexa commands. And sometimes in my car to show off to people who have never been in a Tesla. When I tell the car "my balls are cold" it will turn up the heating and switch on the seat heater 😂
UNECE regulation for hands free driving on motorways has been approved. Some are saying that it opens the way for Tesla fsd to start rolling out in Europe. I guess not the full extent of fsd, just the highway part? System-Initiated Maneuvers (SIM) is the particular regulation (I'm not familiar with it).
Yes you did. And then proceeded to indulge in thinly veiled insults "Anyone who doesn't understand these tools are far from perfect and takes anything they come up with as the truth, is simply an ignorant fool". Or maybe not so thinly.
Methinks you doth protest too much, as why else would you have jumped in on a perfectly factual post with a backup link and resorted to insulting me for posting it? What exactly did your intervention provide in the context of the EU Commission deciding that X had a case to answer? For the record, Holocaust denial is a bit more serious than "a mistake".
Your post was essentially a denial of the seriousness of the issue an insult to anyone who took it seriously and a denial that you use the offending tool. If nothing else, you need to take a step back and maybe have a look at the murky world of holocaust denial that you're giving a free pass to.
Will you give it a rest. I don't give free pass to anything. AI make lots of mistakes, all of them do. Bully it a certain way and it will no doubt come up with a reply that you can publish and will get clicks and will be repeated by sheep all over the world.
V2L you say????
If thats the adaptor its the shutters design ever. Handing down on your bodywork...
Where's the rest of the cable ?
Rest of the cable is the UMC gen2
It is nice that Tesla has finally started to catch with competition. I hope they look into fast charging batteries too.
what % of EV users do you think would it make a massive difference to have fast charging say twice as fast as it currently is?
10%? less?
Tesla are usually among the fastest cars already to do a long distance trip (the only time where fast charging matters for the overwhelming majority of EV owners, most charging is done at home overnight)
And already the human is the limiting factor, humans need more stops than EVs
But the faster charging the better for sure, but it has almost zero importance for most people except EV owners who can not normally charge at home or work. Although for those people in Ireland, I would not recommend an EV because public fast charging is almost as expensive as petrol or diesel
What is fast charging in tesla terms currently ?
I've gotten as high as 255 kW.
thats what i mean its a great headline thing to be able to say add 400km of range in 10 minutes, but whether its 10 or 25 doesnt really matter to most people who charge at home except for once or twice a year,
now i get there is a cohort who it is absolutely important to but id wager they are small.
That's plenty fast for anyone in this country tbh.
Not sure I'd be able to get that much in Ireland though. It was in France with 2% in the battery and 29C temp. After a minute it started dropping back.
All the cheap Teslas with LiFePO4 battery don't get anywhere those speeds though. Not that it matters for most owners. Super fast charging isn't really relevant, except for those who rely heavily on public chargers for their day to day charging
I can only get up to 174kW in my 2020 Model 3 SR+ , but it was 28 degrees and I plugged in at 8%
The LR & P versions go up to 250kW+
Tesla has very good peak rates, but very poor charging curve with charging speed quite quickly going down.
It is not even about fast peak rate, but being able to top-up battery quickly at wide range of SoC.
This is downside of almost all Tesla batteries, except short series of TMY RWD with structural battery. They charge very fast for quite a long time.
What other near 6 year old EV can charge at 174kW, even for a few minutes? 😂
Going pretty mental again
Not surprised, the whole market is roaring.
It’s a momentum stock. There’s been $580bn (38%) added to the value of Tesla in the last 30 days alone, based on nothing but vibes :)
At last we agree on something 😁
I saw they had a countdown clock on the US site for orders before the subsidies end. It’ll be interesting to see if all the Q3deliveries are to real customers, or if they harvest the subsidy on fleet cars and sell them on to customers throughout Q4.
Either way, Q4 deliveries will be way down, and also way down on Q4 last year.
Just 11,000 S, X and Cybertruck were produced in Q3 (15,000 delivered), so without a doubt the CT is now dead. Did they even produce any in Q3? There’s a LOT of stock apparently.
But then again, we have to remember that Tesla isn’t a car company, so none of the above matters to the SP 🙄
