woohoo
Drew the short draw on support as usual for Ireland, mogwai and slowdive on other dates.....
Same price as 3 Arena .
And a lot cheaper than any other big names that have been touting here this year .
We'll be going 🖤

for anyone looking for marlay park presale
Front Standing bought and delighted with that. The general standing area when I went to Pearl Jam at Marlay Park was awful.
Simon im coming to you :-)
That was handy. Only offered front standing for €98 which I was looking for. The current layout of MARLAY isn’t the best for views half way back.
As someone who used to live nearby, the amount of people who can't spell MARLAY park correctly is really irritating me.
Where I live now it's a pain in the arse to get to but may make the pilgrimage for this one.
I had issues getting tickets, app - something went wrong, sign out and back in again. duck browser - same. Chrome worked ok, got the tickets eventually.
Theres front standing? I can only see general admission
Might be gone for today. Keep refreshing (I only got front standing on 3rd search). If it has sold out and you want front standing just try again in the MCD or general sales.
They're obviously also holding back a lot of front standing packaging it up as VIP.
Yeah Ill try in the MCD presale. I was a bit late this morning
Front Standing showing up there now.
Yeah. It was the only option that came up for me.
Yep got them after about 15 refreshes, thanks all.
great band and fantastic live!
I will never get general standing for Marlay again. I was so looking forward to Pearl Jam gig. Notwithstanding some very average albums in their more recent discography, I would have them as still my favourite band. Before the gig, I was picturing myself being lost in the music up near the front. I hadn't realised the layout of the gig. When I got there, the barriers were about half way back, seemed liked miles away from the stage. I spent half the time going around trying to get a decent view and get away from messers and talkers. For what I was hoping was going to be one of my favourite gigs ever, turned out to be very forgettable.
I will definitely be getting front standing for The Cure.
When do edinburgh tics go on sale?
the fact that there are estates around the park spelled Marley doesnt help with the confusion!
Picked up 2 tickets, thanks @sydthebeat for the presale link. No front standing, which was a shame as they appeared to only be a tenner more for a much better experience? Anyway, have seen them at EP and Malahide and both shows have been brilliant. Looking forward to it.
@fourmations
Edinburgh presale on now:

This will be my third time going to see them. Marlay park is a nightmare for me to get to, last time I was there was to see Green Day and bought a car park ticket but the roads were closed so I couldn't get to the car park and abandoned it in a random estate.
Just park in Dundrum shopping centre and it's a 15 min walk
Is the front standing similar setup to Malahide? Can walk in fairly late and still get a good view?
Yep.
Car park is easily accessible from M50 approach roads, and from most directions. Roads only get closed from 10pm, to accommodate the crowd exiting.
Same here
do you really want a good view of Robert Smith? Just look at a pic of him from back in the day and listen
The chatting cúnts in front standing is massively less than normal pitch standing. Every time, every gig, every venue, every country.
Worth the tenner for that and the extra room. The Cure play 2.5 hour gigs.
