Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
I'd guess they're got to be as close to a dead cert as possible for Green Man.
It is odd to me - previously pre-sales were impossible to get into and rare. Now every gig that goes on sale has a presale.
Nabbed my ticket for Super Furry Animals. That's gig 2 after David Byrne lined up for 2026.

I didn't get one either despite getting confirmations I was signed up. My sister sorted me with a 3 presale code as well so I ended up using that.
I got sfa standing tix with 3 as well. By time artist email came only upper circle left, other venues completely sold out.
Delighted, my favourite band, can't wait!

Hard to be sure but the May dates imply June & July festivals, maybe done by late August though it being a Welsh fest may ensure they're booked. Add in the Manics, bring back Catatonia and it's 1998 all over again. who needs Oasis?
No mainland European dates so seemingly festivals there rather than Summer indoor dates.
Considering the other dates on the tour i would be extremely surprised if extra dates were added, the only thing giving dublin the advantage is it being the end date

I was offered seating on the artist presale first and took a big chance and rejected them. Searched again and got offered standing.
So annoying I turned down seating so glad I did now
SFA added a few more dates but not in Dublin
always the way. I didnt mind throwing back seated tickets for this gig but there will be gigs where the fomo is too much
They are but their set is always too short for my liking.
A band with that outstanding back catalogue could easily play for 100-120 mins but they usually only do the bare 90 minutes.
Although I see the setlists for the UK tour earlier this year were 105-110 minutes, maybe they heard me.
Everything Must Go will be 30 years old next summer.
For festivals it's 90 mins but they've always done 120 mins plus when I've seen them indoors. The gigs with Suede were probably 90 mins given that both bands were co-headlining but for standard gigs you'll get 20-25 tracks as per their last standalone shows here at the Olympia in 2019.
This was the set to see when they did all their singles. Was living 20 mins away at the time and didn't go. Utterly stupid.

The Manics have hinted at a 40th Anniversary event next year that's allready been booked. At the recent Manic book launch the played songs they never played before and some new arrangements.
A full tour or perhaps a one off event ?
Saw them in Bristol earlier this year and they did 24 songs, 2 hours 15. Their solo shows are a lot better than the festival sets. Always play a couple of songs they haven’t done in a while. Played songs across 10 albums last time out.
Its always been 90 minutes or less when Ive seen them, they rip through the sets though, easily go through 20 songs in 90 minutes.
Yes that 2 set show in the O2 was epic.
