Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Is he back again?
Biblical
Misread. Wembley Park stop isn't far from stadium. Thought there was NO trains to Wembley :)
Too little, too late?
Ticketmaster forced to change how it advertises tickets after Oasis row | The Guardian
LITTLE BY LITTLE…..WE GAVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU EVER DREAMED OF…..
(Sorry, got a bit carried away)
So they'll tell you 24 hours in advance they're going to rip you off.
Fair play.
Will that only apply to the UK or will our usless lot need to get off their backsides and do something similar?
only uk and it’s a really minor change to be honest. though as uk and ireland TM use same back end it will probably come here
Hope that doesn't come here. Dynamic pricing, under any name, can stay in the aviation industry.
Well after a lot of people on here basically paying the dynamic prices for the tickets on here, they can't really complain that it's being brought in! The dry run for it has proved successful sadly
But don't the U.K. rules changes mean that when you're in the queue you will already know the various price levels for tickets, and you will be informed during the process about availability of all those, before you finally make it through and get to select and pay? Surely that's better than what was recently experienced here for Oasis tickets?
Richard Ashcroft teasing something for Monday 8am
they already had a price range label on the queue notification and the level of ticket availability information will be negligible in reality for a big show like oasis. All can change in a minute. Thousands can be sold
That's exactly it. Prices need to be released in advance of the sale. They said on they're UK FB page they're raising the bar. I commented I've seen cats raise their whiskers higher than their bar.
'C ya next year'
Beady Eye Reunion confirmed
All but confirmed now so.
Liam is fuelling the rumours with his now deleted tweet today with Roman numerals MMXXV11.
I do wonder if multiple nights at Knebworth would sell out if they’re 12 months or more on from the reunion and a lot of people will have seen the show, possibly more than once. Will the hype be the same?
will sell out instantly. They vastly underplayed the UK versus the demand. A decent portion who sent this year will go again.
The talk is five nights at the Etihad and three at Knebworth, that’s a lot of tickets. But, given how much I’ve spent on this current tour, you’re probably right.
they could sell ten nights at both
Good question. It depends how much the tickets are.
I paid €1000 for two tickets for Croke Park on the basis that it was a reunion (and might not happen again).
I won't pay that next time round.
That’s exactly what I was getting at. The reunion buzz will be gone next year.
I think it depends on the number of nights. If what you said above is true and its 5 nights at the Eithad and 3 at Knebworth solely, then I find it hard to see how demand wouldn't be every bit as manic or possibly more. There were almost 650k people at the Wembley gigs alone this time around, plus the 10 other gigs on top. Virtually everyone seems to have had the time of their lives so I think you'll have a huge number of return visitors to go with the ones who missed out first time
Obviously if there's many more gigs such as Glasgow, Newcastle, extra nights at Knebworth etc then we can probably all start breathing a bit easier. Personally il probably target a European date like Madrid next time
I went to the 2nd night at Dublin and got face value standing tickets through a contact. Would i go again - yep as a couple of friends didnt get tickets and i'd like to experience something similar (but different) to the reunion gigs.
I'd be all over a Manchester gig next year if I can get tickets
some of the oasis gear is back up on adidas Irish site
Can't see myself buying over the odds again
Will they do an Elton John etc and not change anything with the stage, setlist etc
Yes I'd pay 200 euro again on the basis that it was a fantastic gig last time out. But I wouldn't shell out 1000 like I would have this time to see it.
Part of me thinks if they do come back I'll spend the whole gig thinking "last year was better" so maybe I might give it a miss. Because nothing about it can possibly be better. Literally nothing.
But then I think "man, I'd love to do that all over again".
wow,,,that's amazing footage. id been to see them 11 times in their time, but couldn't get tickets to the reunion. So i had to sit outside and listen like a feckin eejit. I'll never get over it to be honest.
