Saw them in that club / basement venue at The Mezz years ago. The most intense piercing sound levels I've ever experienced. The main reason why I always take earplugs to gigs now
That's a solid line-up. There's lots of bands there that have a mix of younger and older fans too. Keep everyone happy.
Didn't know The XX were a biggest font level band, but honestly haven't thought about them for a long time.

That's an old skool EP mix I think, plenty for everyone.
Relatively weak Primavera lineup IMO. Enough to keep me busy for the 3 days, but definitely lacks the quality of most previous years, especially the mid/lower sections.
I've never even heard of Ashnikko, Ralphie Choo, rusowsky and a few others in bigger fonts. Marina (of Diamonds fame) and JADE (of Little Mix fame) getting 2nd section billing really highlights the weakness. Or maybe it's more for optics. Marina has never even had a top 10 UK single, and hasn't even a single in the top 100 in over a decade, most don't even chart at all, which is pretty piss-poor for a current pop act.
Several of the acts I'd be interested in are/will be playing here over the next year, so hard to justify the costs involved, so little chance I'll be heading back this year.
The xx were top line last time they played it too. Skrillex undergoing a bit of a resurgence recently.
likes of marina has very Spotify numbers and last uk tour involved playing Manchester Apollo, Brixton academy wtc. Deffo end of second tier category. uk charts aren’t much of an indicator anymore with its rules. Millions of people can listen to her music a month and it won’t chart.
There is absolutly plenty on that lineup to be excited about. I'm usually VERY critical about pop music but think both Marina and Jade both have some very quality music, have seen Marina before and good live too. Both seem to have huge fan bases too and lean into other genres so are not just bubblegum pop either i.e. Jade recently collabing with Condifence Man. Font size aside they're both solid bookings, along with a lot more on that poster too, I was worried after last years headliners but this is a relief. Besides Addison Rae and Doja cat, I'd try see every headliner there along with much more throughout, very tempting.
The XX is a reunion, couldn't see them placed any further down the list than headliner imo. As for Skrillex he's had some very good critically received music in recent years, and technically speaking a top top tier DJ and Producer (I didn't like much of his early 2010s+pop stuff, some was interesting) but I have a much different opinion now, he's headlined Primevera and Coachella before so certainly not a joke act, 9 grammys, large spofity listeners. I think part of the reason he is headlining again so soon is last time he played the festival the main stage caught fire (I was there), good gig but definitely affected it after it restarted.
