Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
Ticketmaster and the Promoter are just wasting peoples time.
Announcing a general sale and then only releasing a couple of dozen tickets.
all on the promoter/artist deciding the allotments for presales that make general sales pointless for hyped shows. They knew within seconds of the first presale that general sale was a waste of time.
They don't care.
Of course they dont.
Any predictions for slane next year?
Harry styles again
Ed Sheeran
He's starting a new world tour down under next year
Croke Park in line for shows next August too with U2 been the rumoured name (coming from snippets from the GAA president earlier this year)
Ed will be doing Phoenix park
President playing Belfast got the email last night for those that missed out, not too fussed myself
Laura-Mary Carter, Grand Social, Friday 13th February: https://singularartists.ie/show/laura-may-carter/
She's one half of Blood Red Shoes.
Reckon U2 is locked in for Slane? https://www.lmfm.ie/news/news-extra/u2-in-line-for-slane-castle-gig/
Its a speculative article at best, listing odds and having Coldplay and Oasis in the running when there is 0% of them playing in Ireland next year
Havent Coldplay announced that the Wembley shows this Sep are their final gigs as a band together?
No, nothing of the sort.
Chris Martin said at a recent show they have 145 shows left on this tour and are taking a break soon, I'm not sure was that tongue in cheek, but they have no intention to stop touring.
I think they said they would only be releasing 12 studio albums, so thats 2 more but Id take that with a pinch of salt. They were talking of the band breaking up 7 years ago and it was just bluster.
I have literally no idea why I thought they did so! My bad.
it’s an advert for ladbrokes.
Kingfishr doing SSE Arena, Virgin Media Park and Malahide next June
dates for those that care
MCR posted a clip teasing a tour for the UK, I hope it’s also a hint for announcing European dates as well especially Ireland at the same time or sometime later
you think so or he definitely will ?
Don’t think we’ll see u2 until theres a new album, and that could be late 2026 at earliest
An Arena show or maybe St Anne's Park or RHK again
Found them average enough last time but this setlist is soiled
Think that's the earliest gigs for Musgrave Park and Malahide Park have been announced.
I've been wrong before, but I imagine it's going to take some shift to sell these shows, We're talking a capacity jump of 6 or 7x from Dublin and Cork this year, Get them out now and you've got LC results, christmas, birthdays and finishing the LC next year as an excuse to sell them.
Good luck to them anyway, they're not for me but they're fairly decent players and their songs are inoffensive.
Dublin and Belfast will fly out. Cork might take a while
They will sell out.…
Didn't they play Marquee and Fairview this year? Think they're both 5,000 or so? Musgrave Park probably 10 and Mailahide similar. They've sold out 2 3Arena gigs in December too. Say they'll sell these easily.
anyone got any info on potential MCR dates?
Picture This do Trad. Abominable.
How is the Fleadh Cheoil venue decided out of curiosity ?
Imagine its full of 'new age trad music' fans who will be filling venues next summer for Kingfisher
2 Johnnies and all that
