Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Suppose PUC could be done and dusted intercounty games wise by early June
A dream scenario would be a Bruce/Ed Sheeran type nationwide tour but won't happen in a month of Sundays
28th June is free
probably too small for them money wise to come over here and GAA season scheduling not helping
If they can do Glasgow and Edinburgh over the 2 year cycle then Cork should be in with a shout
There's a 3-week gap at the end of July with no gigs scheduled, still plenty of room for more shows.
Maybe not Slane (I would hope not) but wouldn't rule out Irish gigs at all
Already a different act (bad bunny) booked and tickets on sale for the Metropolitano in Madrid on June 10th so that list can't be correct. Well not fully anyway but would give an indication to whether to take it seriously
nothing to do with promoter. They are trying to cover countries/cities they haven’t played before on the reunion and Manchester in city stadium was always going to be on the cards given out of commission for renovations this summer
Christ with all those " leaked gigs " Liam will be sounding like a hoarse frog by the time he gets through half of them.
I know he is managing the voice better in recent years, but when it goes bad, he sounds terrible.
Once it holds up for the 2 nights in Dublin is the main thing, after that, good luck !
Seen those leaks for 2026
Definitely demand there for another Irish gig or 2. Maybe MCD wont budge of something
Doesn’t look like Slane ‘26 will be happening. Same source was on the ball with all the tour dates and venues for this year.
2026 schedule floating about. Ireland ain’t on it.
If they didn't sound in good form and sounded a bit rough then would they disappoint people who have paid a small fortune.?
From videos people have listed online, they sound almost too good and tracks from different venues sound very samey.
Some artifical assistance maybeeeeee
Agreed
Although the lesser known songs we're meh but once the hits started it was great
Play it by ear in a few weeks, not sure will I rush in for CAST
Paul Heaton or Suede would of been great support. Maybe for Knebworth or Slane 2026
Seemingly a lot of people..... I paid 600e and no support, absolute rip off! I paid 600e and only flipping Cast and Ashcroft supporting!
Unfortunately The Beatles weren't available and Oasis don't have enough hours in the day to play every song they and The Rain have written. She always comes up..... Pissing and moaning! Should be the 2025 re-write
Pfft, your there to see Oasis, who are playing a mega setlist and on fine form by all accounts. The support is a bonus.
The pissing and moaning is totally unmerited!
It's good to have a bit of music throughout the evening. Rather than just arriving in at 8 o'clock for Oasis, and then gone at 11. Pearl Jam gig in Marley had Murder Capital on at about 6 and then R. Ashcroft on from about 7.15 to maybe 8?? Whilst it wasn't mind-blowing, it's nice to have than on in the background whilst having a few drink. Makes it a little more memorable.
Ah now, how can Beech be a bot, sure doesn’t he spend his time driving local kids to sold-out gigs (Bruce, Taylor, etc) and gets the local GAA club minivan full of kids onto the pitch, right up front, FOR FREE?! Only a real Man can do what Beech does, have sense!
You don't even have a ticket, also you're not a real person.
Let's call a spade a spade, the support is nice, but who would actually really care is there was no support at all? Not many. I wouldn't.
Not sure there is room for his RA gigs in Ireland this year given he supported PJ and Oasis the last two years.
He was great in Marlay park I thought.
Deliberately avoided this thread until now, my heart could not withstand months of anticipation. Ashcroft was great at EP a few years back, loved him.
Wembley was unbelievable last night.
Can't wait for Croke Park now
Ashcroft was Brilliant in Manchester, great line up!
And Nirvana, Zeppelin, Taylor Swift to open
I would guess it was part of the list of requirements the brothers had as part of negotiations with the promoter.
There is a serious amount of entitled pissing and moaning throughout this thread - be it over the hit packed setlist and the oh but they are not playing my favorite! Now more pissing and moaning over Cast and Ashcroft supporting. Two credible and great bands with huge hits and quality muscians. Lighten up and be glad it isn't Bambi Thug and The Academic supporting!
Absolute miserable shower of C**ts!
Curfew were the dogs bollocks
Well if Cardiff can get the Doors..
U2 as support seems like a reasonable request.
That’s the problem though. It’s all too palsy Walsy and a bit safe. Ashcroft has been off the boil for 20 years at this stage - yesterdays man and boy does he look and sing like it. Noel has been a fan boy of him for many’s a long year - Cast No Shadow and all that - I have a feeling they’ll change up the support for Dublin. Cards on table I would take U2 in a heartbeat over Cast (be honest - also rans) and someone like Wolfe Tones and Brian Warfield - spine chilling and proper respectful to the Irish crowd. We are not a no mark commuter town in Essex (I’m looking at you Romford) and hell yeah we deserve better support acts.
I’m not trying to wind up anyone

Apology accepted in advance - don’t look back in anger!
