Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Brilliant and no doubt more mad mad stories about him our there too
Sharon kept him alive

One for the 2026 thread
Mogwai epic at the Big Top, fab setlist and they turned up the volume to blast out the yappers. Milk Market tomorrow should be special, amazed they’re playing to only 800 and wish I could be there. Best gig of the Arts Festival by quite a way.
Nice, looking forward to Vicar St on Saturday 🙂
Did they play much off the new album? Haven't listened to it that much yet. Don't wanna go onto setlist.fm as I don't like having the whole setlist spoiled.
4 out of 14 I think - Pale Vegan, Lion Rumpus, etc. Not as strong as the older material obviously. If they follow the same setlist it's all good but really takes off about 8/9 tracks in with a very special trio of tracks. Enjoy.
Ethel Cain in store listening events for the new album on 7th August in Spindizzy Records. Listed under the UK section of venues too, in case you missed it
New "new music" night from MCD at the Grand Social. I think I read it's monthly, but can't see that now. Anyway, first one...
Saw For Nina at the recent Summer fest in Whelan's and they were really good.
I'm getting an obscene amount of ads for the Sam Fender gig in Belfast next month.
Guessing it ain't selling too good?
setlist from Limerick last night
They dropped Summer, Auto Rock, We're No Here, Take Me Somewhere Nice and Remurdered from the Galway gig. I'm not saying this cos I was in the Big Top but the Milk Market set is pretty inferior for me. Subjective of course. I'd expect them to do the Galway set tonight and the Limerick set tomorrow.
They dont seem to be playing Fact Boy much, which is one of the best tunes on the new record for me.
Solid setlist though.
Irish act signed to Rocket. The blurb says "An experimental Irish trio that blends folk, synth, drone, noise, and heavy grooves into a dark, ethereal, and transcendent mix of long-form explorations and vignettes."

Managed through Ticketmaster resale get tickets for Oasis last night, absolutely phenomenal and the whole trip cost less than one ticket for Croker mental... To anyone going and standing for Dublin, first few thousand get upgraded to the front free of charge! They were mega, unreal atmosphere and Richard Ashcroft was class as well
The scratch

On sale now
Legend, thanks!
Gaza fundraiser too, sound lads
30th says sold out already. If anyone grabbed a spare ticket, I'll buy it.
I should have a spare, I'll know later.
Sound. Thanks. Drop me a PM if it works out. And I can revolut you the money. Cheers.
and now she's moved to 3arena - Mon 25th Aug
Bit of a farce, moving a shows date less than 3 weeks out.
So much for FanIrish saying she wasnt ready for Arenas yet.
Always seemed crazy to me to have her in National Stadium
I think it’s a risky move tbh. Some fans might feel short changed if it’s a half arsed arena show/set up.
They could go with the small standing layout and seats from row 5 if that is the case but it looks like they are going the whole hog with the full standing layout.
I meant more so from a production point of view. All the other pop stars have elaborate stage set ups, flying props etc. she won’t have that for hers. audience probably expecting something more than her, a few dancers and a big screen behind her.
Plus she only has one album. Going to be short enough show
