Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Tickets have been popping up all day today. €500 ones. I've been attempting to nab one for my mate but each time one pops up, it's gone in seconds.
Definitely bots at play
Ill go down the toutless route the week off the gig. At the end of the day its something that I'd only be comfortable doing in person, standing beside the swapper
Are there any other reliable P2P sites to swap tickets aside from toutless?
Have ended up with a pair of seated tickets for the Sunday that Id like to swap for standing but not much happening over there. Don't want any part of facebook marketplace!
Definitely recommend a trip over to Manchester for it. Electric atmosphere and Oasis shirts everywhere. Was in Liverpool the day after, a lot of oasis fans around Cavern quarter
I’ve seen them pop up a lot but I’ve been checking religiously. Cheapest I’ve seen was the weekend - couple of tickets going for €370 each. Still too dear for me though! I’m curious if people are selling the Saturday or Sunday tickets more
I mean …. since they're revisiting Knebworth as a 30 year anniversary type tour, you never know…. hopefully a few nights in Parc Ui Caoimhe might be on the cards.
Cast were drinking in The Ferryman after their Liam support on Definitely Maybe tour. They stayed out in the Radisson Stillorgan road, lovely hotel but they weren't impressed with their agent who booked it so far away. They were enjoying their evening in Ferryman anyway..
the Etihad for 5 nights and knebworth rumours have been circulating with vigour since the Cardiff shows. Deffo foresee some mainland Europe shows next year. a lot more money to be hoovered up
I heard from a reliable source that the Etihad is booked for alot of dates next summer.
So if people dont get tickets to Croke Park, all is not lost.
Yeah definitely not seeing anywhere near as many resale tickets pop up now at all - even at the crazy prices.
I got mine around 7 - 8 in the morning. Resale at 94 + fees, the original cheapest €87 ticket at the worst possible location. Single ticket only unfortunately.
It was couple of months ago, before the first show. I don't remember the last time I saw a resale ticket even at 590+ yoyos since their shows started, the hype is back
was joking. If there was a gap between the shows I’m sure they would be getting escorted to airport and in their own houses by midnight. as it consecutive nights they will be staying in the west bury or the merrion. They will probably book out the entire floor in the west bury like Taylor Swift did with security on each stairwell and lift.
And maybe the post above might explain if they are flying back. Why put yourself through that misery of going back to your hotel only to find it rammed with people expecting you to put on another show.
I'm not saying that you would @Beechwoodspark (Edit: After looking at previous posts, maybe I am). Don't worry. But can you imagine if people found where they were staying? Can you imagine the crowds around the hotel. The impact on other guests? Hell, even the RUMOUR would (will) cause crowds around suspected hotels. This would not be a couple of folks chilling out in hotel bar post gig and the lads saunter in. No, this would be THOUSANDS of people clamouring, screaming, pushing, phones out as they try to push through to get to their hotel rooms. Only for then people to b*tch and moan about how rude they were.
They may very well stay in Ireland/Dublin but "Confirm" that they are flying back just to give themselves some peace. Or so that they CAN go for a pint without everyone waiting/assuming.
Shure they'll be home and tucked up in bed by midnight.
Are you being serious when you say that?
Would make a million times more sense to stay in a hotel on the Saturday night
I suspect that whatever happens we can expect Beechwoodspark to be back here after the concert with an anecdote about some insider gossip he picked up from Noel during a little private chat.
'Arthur'? A pint o' plain is your only man
Taylor Swift will be swinging by the bar of the merrion to play oasis covers set
Indeed. And what about all the kiddies he was previously bringing onto the pitch, for free - will they be let into the residents bar?
The mini bus is not mine for private jollies - belongs to the club - I’d travel up on train with the better half - then taxi to the hotel so that I can go on the “Arthur” (Guinness for those not in the know about Irish slang) and maybe a cheeky Aperol Spritz for the good lady wife. And “NO!!!” - we will not be removing our Manc bucket hats !!! No matter how nice they ask …
Where would you fit the mini bus in the residents bar?
Ahhhh that’s disappointing especially as the lads make such a palaver over their Irish roots :/
Ffs it wouldn’t kill to spend time here meeting their fellow Irish ppl, it might do them good, I not overly keen about our kid’s obnoxious skinhead Brit hooligan act….
But in all in anyways was hoping to sneak into their hotel residents bar on off chance of an after show acoustic set - nibble on a nice steak sandwich and fries, club sandwich maybe … sit back and play the waiting game until they arrive in triumph from Croker -
Noel doing the “master plan” over a hushed bar hubbub - herself and myself having a cheeky cuddle - magic!!
The amount of people I was chatting to at Sunday's gig about the Bohs jersey that were shocked to find out I was an actual Bohs fan!
private jets bringing back to London each night
So - yeah king shot but hell - does anyone know what hotel they will stay in?
Do they stay in separate hotels these days I wonder? Remembering accounts of a fantastic after show impromptu acoustic set and “lock in” session in the Burlington hotel residents bar, all those years ago - even the night shift taxi men were in singing along. Great night by all accounts.
any rumours of “an audience with” Paul Gallagher in the lead up? He did the show in the Radisson at dublin airport back around 06. No Peggy but previously she has been known to show up if she is in town.
I know the Bernard Shaw have DJ's lined up from 1pm on the Saturday, mate of a mate is playing. Tickets currently available, free of charge.
Bernard Shaw and Bald Eagle in Phibsborough both solid enough spots that should cater to everyone in a group, then a nice downhill walk to the stadium. Will almost certainly have to book a table though.
For the Wrestling fans here, wow didn't expect that
4am Irish time, somebody must’ve done something silly after a night out.
