Bob Dylan’s ticket prices…
3Arena tickets are from €76.25
Belfast Waterfront are from £75 to £160
No word on the Killarney prices yet
Nice one. Solid support, loving Drug Church recently.
Probably be expensive and all the same price, Aiken loves his flat pricing structure.
I've heard great reports from his recent US dates though the setlists not for me. His band have been consistently great for the past two decades but as far as I'm aware Charlie Sexton is no longer on boards. That's a bad loss irrespective of the replacement.
Morrissey as entertaining as always.
Morrissey was forced to cancel five more gigs on his European trek.
Morrissey revealed that a member of his band sustained an injury, causing the group to cancel gigs in Belgrade, Romania; Istanbul, Turkey; Athens, Greece; and Sibenik, Croatia. No word was given regarding rescheduled shows at this time.
The news follows a previously cancelled gig in Stockholm, Sweden last month. The show was set to take place at the 8,300-capacity Hovet Arena in Stockholm on Monday, June 23. However, ticketholders for the Stockholm show were notified that the show was cancelled “due to exhaustion among the band and crew.”
He went on to note that “in the last seven days we have travelled into six countries, and we are travel-weary beyond belief” and “we can barely see.”
We pray to God that someone, somewhere can help us reach Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Denmark … where we have thousands upon thousands of friends, yet absolutely zero music industry support,” Morrissey continued. “No label will release our music, no radio will play our music … and yet our ticket sales are sensational. What does this tell us about the state of Art in 2025?”
Any Boardsies able to help out ?
Did you make it along in the end? Really nice venue. Thought they and the support were really good - pity there wasn't a bigger crowd - I'd say somewhere around 40 is all
No chance as my older kid developed chicken pox 48 hours ago so that's killed off my gig (and travel) plans for a couple of weeks. Hence I was non-committal about going, had hoped I could drop in but the whining and moaning off the scale so no chance. 😁
Glad you enjoyed it, give me a shout when next at a gig here and I'll buy you a couple of pints. Enjoy the weekend.
No idea. He doesn't have a record deal but hes clearing a right few quid from each gig. As he says, tickets are selling well.
He books loads of gigs in a row in different countries and then complains about fatigue. 🙄
Reviews of recent shows (both fans and critics) have been mid though so maybe hes just throwing a strop.
He loves a whinge in fairness. He has a pretty high cancellation rate over the last few years between one thing and another. You would imagine people will start to get pissed off at that eventually.
I saw someone on Reddit say he's either cancelled or rescheduled 80% of his gigs this year so far. And that was before the latest wave of cancellations. Awful carry on really. No respect for his fans.
Wow. That's a shocker. I know how loyal a lot of his fans are. That's appalling stuff.
Monday is a disaster for me. Might try Hamburg on the bank holiday weekend

Anyone come across The Wren before? Waterford crowd? Trad, folk? @endainoz @bodhrandude ? They're on the Green Man bill, never heard of them.
Never heard of them either @Stillill42.
Looks pretty cool…
...skipping Dublin again. When will bands remember there's venues inside the pale? 😋
Haha. Will be interesting to see how the Cork gig sells. It's the Monday after the Sounds From A Safe Harbour gigs so wonder will that have any impact on ticket sales.
I think the editor fan base and SFSH might be a few miles apart
Folk // Dungarvan, Waterford
Emerging from the Comeragh’s of County Waterford, Ireland, Brothers—Tommy, Danny, Sean, and Stephen Dunford—form the heart of the brand-new trad fusion band THE WRAN.
Inspired by the likes of Moving hearts, Lankum, Planxty, and the Mary Wallopers, The Wran united to form their band, infusing traditional Irish tunes with contemporary folk nuances. Their sound is built upon banjo, acoustic guitar, accordion, electric guitar, bass and drums, (to name a few).
Their performances weave old folk tunes with original compositions, enchanting audiences with their authenticity and innovation. The band has only begun their journey, but their dynamic energy and musical prowess leave an enduring impact.
Will surely sell out, but there is no accounting for good taste nowadays.😊
Nice to see an Irish tour like this on the back of the Wolf Alice one, long may it continue.
Cheers for that, had read the blurb, just wondering had anyone come across them, seen them etc.
I've seen the Dunford boys play a few times around Dungarvan area. Very entertaining
Good stuff, I'll try to get in for a look at them so.
Wobble is €24 (incl fee) in Galway, via the Roisin site. Bargain. By contrast it's €28 with TM.
For Those I Love are €26 via the Galway Town Hall Theatre, €33 via TM.
If at all possible, don't feed the beast.
With those venues I'd say there's a Whelan's date on the way.
100% agree, where there is an alternative.
Dicky Ashcroft talking advantage of his Apperernces supporting Oasis
I see they're playing a trad and folk festival in Dublin in August. Anyone know what that is? Couldn't find anything online. They're also doing an Irish tour in November, playing Cork, Galway and Dublin.
