Well never thought id see the day..i know its that rag reporting it but their generally right on these kinda things. I guess thats our multiple nights in Croke Park band sorted for next Summer then✌
Same as myself. Not cheap though, the prices mentioned are the going rate.
I’ve posted about it already but mine were face value, plus fees. They’re rare but do exist.
53 quid service charge?!?!
For those that have purchased resale tickets, is the app still staying 'your tickets aren't quite ready yet'
Apologies if this was raised before, just double checking as I bought the ticket months ago.
Ya, that's what mine says.
All tickets say that until a couple of days before the event. I’ve presale for Edinburgh and resale for Dublin, same status.
This an Oasis thread, and that's the best you can come up with, pathetic really. I also presume you would be going to the pub on your own, and sitting in the corner on your own!!
it's an absolute joke, Ticketmaster along with FIFA must be one of the most corrupt organisations on the planet. I remember when the service charge was only a couple of Euro per ticket, and that wasn't a hundred years ago.
And even when you were buying multiple paper tickets in a bricks and mortar the old way they would put a sevice charge on each ticket. Hello! it is only one transaction you gougers.
€40 of that is vat due to revenue.
I read an article about it earlier and it's a complete scam. They claim it's because they have to disable the old ticket and then add your name etc. (so much work of course) but it's just thievery.
I was at the Saturday night Cardiff gig. I wouldn't say I am a diehard Oasis fan but that gig was fantastic! A few points; The first thing that I will say, is that its the first gig in a long time where I wasn't moving out of peoples way when they were going for beer or the toilet. I was standing on the pitch, and normally you have loads of people going past you on the way to the bar and toilets. Once the gig started, I swear I don't remember anyone walking past me. People were so into the show that nobody moved!
I thought the setlist was super. The first 45 minutes were over in an instant - the pace was relentless. I expected a dip, but it didn't really come. It was hit after hit after hit.
There was little to no crowd interaction. I guess when you have so many songs that its best to just bang them out.
Liams voice sounded seriously good - I was not expecting that.
The Principality Stadium is one of the best places to go for live music. Firstly, its so close to the bars and restaurants in Cardiff - I am not joking when I say its a 2 minutes walk from the main area of pubs to the stadium. Also, having the roof on was amazing - it seemed to condense the atmosphere into the stadium!
It's a snooze you lose concert. Sounds like they're sticking to the music and no bullshit.
An open stadium concert is diminished in daylight and even more diminished in wet weather. They'll be playing here mostly after sunset so that'll be a big plus. Sunset will be 20:50 on 16th August.
Cassidy Travel using 'See tickets'
I wonder what allocation 'See tickets' got overall ??
40 of the 53 service charge is VAT, why? Doesn't sound correct.
Its obscene……….
as my 15 year old said to me during the week, you could only justify paying those types of prices for tickets if John Lennon/Elvis/Freddie Mercury etc came back from the dead.
It does if its the VAT on the overall ticket price………
When you resell through TM you get the full amount you paid including VAT TM charged and paid over to revenue back. TM get that vat back through the service fee. Original purchase price €176. 75 per ticket
Vat element paid to revenue €20
TM holds rest for promoter €155
Resold for €176.75
Seller gets €176.75 (full amount they originally paid)
TM is out the €20 they paid to revenue
TM takes back the vat paid back to seller through service charge amount. service charge for 2x was €53, so €40 of that was them getting €40 from resale purchaser.
Doesn't sound correct. Ticketmaster would recoup the VAT on the original ticket when they claim a credit for the refund given to the original customer.
New transaction then for the resale ticket - the customer pays the VAT on that transation similar to the original customer.
Just saw two face value tickets there for the Sunday, €180 or so a pop, but they were gone when I tried to add them to my basket
So close
Was that via the app or website ? Thanks
Making fun of loners isn't original either.
Oh the site
Little By Little is a stinker. Primo pishtune.
True perfection has to be imperfect.
I know that that sounds foolish but it’s true.
maybe its already been asked but is the only way of gettin a resale ticket is thru ticketmaster or can the guy in work who cant go sell me his?
Cash-in-hand and transfer ticket when window opens.
