I think this is as good a place to put this that has been bugging me for months.
Austin by Dasha reminds me of some song from the 80s or 90s but I can't put my finger on it.
It's the sound of it, that kind of country/pop vibe, the way the chorus is sung or something.
I thought it might be "Where have all the cowboys gone" by Paula Cole from 1997 but I'm not sure, I think there is a better fit.
Anyone got any ideas?

McCartney wanted it to be a Beatles single but the other Beatles didn't particularly like the song so vetoed it. Yesterday and With a Little Help from my Friends are other examples of songs the Beatles never released as singles that became big hits for other artists.
This is a common misconception. Ironically this is the best known song by America around this part of the world.
Part of the start of the ABBA song "Lay all your love on me" (about 0.33 seconds in), sounds a bit like the start of "Boom Boom Boom Boom" by the Vengaboys (0.28 seconds in).
