Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
They'll sell out Leisureland but not by 10.05 on Thursday so you're safe. On the slight off-chance that it sells spectacularly fast then that should signify a second date.
Worst case scenario the Roisín always releases a few extra tickets later on and there are always a few returns on the door at Leisureland (got one for the way over-subscribed Lankum gig 18 months ago and pals did for the Fontaines before that).
I never buy via TM for Galway gigs - Roisín, Monroes, GIAF, etc always cheaper.
€27.50 inc fees on eventbrite for the Cyprus Avenue gig, i also avoid TM where its possible.
Unless they try and push it as some anniversary gig with decent support but cheap tickets.
They've been quiet for a few years, think they did some random upstair whelans gigs few years ago

Just realised the Olympia announcement is probably to do with "The Wier" play with Brendan Gleeson
Announced and on sale about 6 weeks ago, so unless it's cancelled it won't be that.
Could be extending the run, the # mentioned the wier, we'll find out soon enough

I got a Promoter's Presale email from Roisin Dubh this morning, on the basis that I'd bought tickets last time NewDad played there, but that link goes to Ticketmaster as well so I'll wait another day.

Went to see Air last night at Fairview Park, first time at that venue. All I can say is what a gig and what a venue. Saw Air at Trinity last year but this was even better. The sound was excellent. Would definitely go back there for a gig

I'll be aiming for Spirit Store and Workmans but will focus on the former first. Workmans will be an added bonus if i get it. Ticket prices look reasonable too.
€19 at the Roisín. For once I'd be encouraging a band to charge more.

Went to the Roisin Dubh website to buy NewDad tickets on general sale. Instead of allowing a purchase on their website the ticket button redirected to Singular Artists. And the button on Singular Artists redirected to TM.
Other Singular Artist tours with Galway stops direct to Roisin Dubh to buy tickets so it's a bit galling the NewDad is TM only.
Yep, that's a bit odd, I had the same experience and never seen that before. Particularly strange as the RD price is €25 and TM is €31.50, and no option anywhere for the former. A case of RD having a certain allocation and it selling fast? I'll ask the promoter.
I hadn't thought of that. I didn't get in until two hours after they went on sale. It would be interesting to know if you could buy directly from RD at 10AM. RD price is listed as €25 plus fees and TM is €28 plus fees. €3.50 fees on TM but RD should be €1 plus 2%.
Looks like resale tickets for Zach Bryan are back available after being pulled on Saturday afternoon. Maybe they sold the tickets they wanted to in the few days since.

I hope they are taken to task over that.
I think they have strict t and Cs aright. If a gig is sold out or close to it they usually refund a ticket to sell it again
