Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
I wonder how long the Biden-Iran war will last for.
The head of the revolutionary guards is dead. These attacks once again demonstrate that Iran is no match for Israel. We will hear loud noises from Iran but they aren't capable of a consumerate response. Still It won't stop some posters from continuing to suggest Iran is a threat to the existence of Israel.
Iran's air defence doesn't seem capable either. Why not?
They don’t really have to attack directly, they can attack Israeli and US interests via proxy groups. Not existential threats by any means, but can still do damage.
It's another terror bombing attack by Israel against residential areas.
I wonder what Israel will do to 'justify' America getting involved 🤔 maybe a staged terrorist attack at the parade?
Very little in reality. They backed off in the last round of strikes because they feared what would happen in return. Some posters like sands tried to talk up Iran capabilities but the reality is most of their missiles were intercepted or landed in open spaces.
What was Israel's position on Obama's nuclear agreement with Iran that Trump stiffed?
Would that agreement have prevented this war?
Israel destroyed most of it last year and like most of their general military it was completely obsolete anyway.
Their air force and air defense network is non existent and is powerless against Israel.
Iraq's air force and air defense systems were very significantly better in 1991 than Iran's are today and look how that worked out.
They've invested in drones and ballistic missiles as a deterrant, but those aren't particularly effective either, and they're even less effective against a sophisticated air defense system like Israel has.
Iran will respond but they're pretty limited in what they can do, versus how badly Israel can hurt them.
This attack and previous ones also demonstrates how ineffectual the Russian s 300 and 400 systems are when they are up against Israeli and western weapons. The war in Ukraine first exposed this. I would imagine Russian military exports have taken a huge hit as a consequence
It's not like Israel is going to take over all of Iran, so this is just a continued attempt to create enemies that will fund terrorism and justify Israel's existence and war crimes over the coming decades. We'll be reading the exact same sort of story decades from now.

Last week, Iran and Russia elevated ties.
"Perhaps most significantly, the treaty formalizes military cooperation at unprecedented levels."
Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if this hastens Iran's nuclear ambitions rather than stalls them.
The Iranian regime since the revolution have made the destruction of Israel a core part of their goals.
Jews inhabiting former Muslims lands isn't compatible with their messianic sect beliefs.
To that end they have funded proxies like Hamas(despite being Sunni) and the Houthi. Hezbollah in Lebanon are more than a proxy they are an effective extension of the Republican Guard.
The reason Iran can't destroy Israel is Israel is a more advanced civilization in terms of science, military etc. The intent to wipe out Israel is there just not the ability.
Given Iran's goals and efforts over the years the Israeli defence ministry would be negligent if they didn't deal with the Iranian nuclear threat.
Iranian hatred of Israel is entirely antisemitic and based on their particular version of Shi'ite Islam. It has nothing to do with the rights of Sunni Muslims in Palestine who have suffered at the hands of the Jewish state.
Prior to the revolution Iran and Israel weren't at odds. There's close to 1000km between both nations.
Iranian colonialism since then; seen in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, had led to them having a land route to Israel's northern border.
I wish words cost money. "Attacks I like are justified." is all you had to say. Didn't even bother reading past the first line.
100 Iranian drones on the way to Israel. They'll be easily shot down I assume.
Oil up 9% this morning.
It remains to be seen, how effective the Natanz site, other nuclear facilities, strikes are. They have been heavily hardened and protected since the time of Stuxnet. While the decapitation strikes seem to have been spectacularly successful, the nuclear sites will need damage assessment.
Now we will see what the fruits of 'increased military cooperation' with Russia looks like, and whether it covers ballistic missiles with which to strike back.
How open minded of you.
Feck, should have filled the oil tank last week
the IAEA stated yesterday that Iran has breached that agreement, which I presume is the excuse Israel will use for the attack.

Watchdog finds Iran failing to meet nuclear obligations - BBC News
Iran are stupid having nuclear facilities and military commands in residential areas…
It’s Russian made 💩
Bibi and his fascists are a bigger danger to world peace than anyone else bar Putin.
Just ordered before it goes up
Going by US/Israel logic around Oct 7th and the right to self-defence, Iran can now invade and obliterate Israel.
That's how this all works, isn't it?
Calm down there comrade, put the Oreshnik back in the zipper
Saudis are determined to flood world with oil specifically to target OPEC+ like Iran and Russia who been ignoring their agreements
The weak Iranian response to this will show just what a con the whole "Isreal defending itself" bullsht is.
I’m surprised this isn’t simply being discussed under the Hamas attacks Israel thread like all other Israeli attacks on sovereign countries.
Once again: Israel acts, Iran makes wild threats and basically looks like the Islamic version of North Korea. Humiliation for them yet again. Can anyone stand up to Israel? Seemingly not
Ah yes, nuclear armed Israel attacking Iran for breaching nuclear obligations.
Sounds legit.
