Out today, apparently. I'll check again later when I get home. I've a Pixel 8.
Installing it now on an 8 pro, let's see what it's like.
1.29GB download here.
Installed it on my 6 Pro. The 15 changed to a 16, other than that... 🤷
There's supposed to be a big refresh of the UI coming but not until September or so.
I installed it too, on my 7 pro and haven't noticed a single difference. The one feature that was mentioned in the tips on restart doesn't seem to be there either.
Yeah I installed it on my Pixel 7 last night, didn't see anything new.
Material 3 will be the new look and feel which comes in September. There is lot more api functionality with 16 so will probably take a while for apps to take advantage of it

Did wonder if yesterday's release was to steal a little of Apple's WWDC thunder.
Some minor adjustments in the menu aesthetics is all I've seen, so far.
Possibly. The previous 2 versions were released much later, October I think. I was surprised to see 16 released so early too.
Did any of ye load up that easter egg game? Seems to be some kind of space simulator. I loaded it up and spent about 30 seconds on it. 16 hours later it was still running in the background!
Has anyone downloaded the Android 15 One UI 7 update?
Yep, not a fan to be honest. On my S23 Ultra I instantly noticed degraded battery performance and the changes seemed more aimed at copying IOS than anything (the stupid pulldown menu change for example - thankfully it can be reverted).
With the news now that Nova launcher is being essentially discontinued, I'm not sure what I'll do next to be honest.
Thanks for the reply! I'm reading far too many negative reviews from people with my same phone model citing random device reboots, as well as green lines on the screen after update to the new One UI 7.
Certainly making me think twice about installing it.
Another aesthetic tweak in the latest update.
Anyone having the following issue
Phone is connected to Bluetooth and can play audio. But doesn't connect for phone calls. Same thing happens whether headphone or car.
Pixel 7 running Android 16.
Updating Google Play Services solved the issue.
