Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Anyone know if there'll be a gig at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this year or rumoured for 2026? Been one the last few years but nothing announced yet
Was at a talk in Pairc Ui Caoimh recently where Cork GAA CEO says there won't be a gig this year. Thye are committed to doing more gigs because it will help reduce the stadium debt but there wasn't an artist of the requisite level to fill the venue that they could get that fitted in the calendar.
Not even a week until Catfish and the Bottlemen’s gig at Fairview and not a word on the support act despite everywhere else having theirs announced.
Anyone heard anything or is it gonna be another “call the workmans DJ 2 hours before doors” job?
Thanks for the update. The last few gigs were very successful. Let's hope someone big's 2026 tour includes a Cork date. It's a great day out!
2nd gig announced for Mick Flannery and Susan O Neill in Cork Opera House on Sunday 2nd November.

'A Praise Chorus' and 'Sweetness' will be magic live. Not expecting but would love to hear 'Sure and Certain'
By my count 12 of 28 Marquee gigs are showing as sold out. 3 out of 9 Fairview gigs. 2 out of 10 Iveagh Gardens gigs. Know there's still a few weeks away and sales could improve if weather is nicer at time but wonder are high ticket prices starting to have an impact? Maybe promoters have factored in not selling 100% of tickets with increased prices too also. Interesting all the same
That and the fact a lot of gigs are around the same timeframe
Yes far too many shows in June.
Its a pretty weak lineup this summer too, not many big names touring.
Cork has 2 sets of gigs (marquee and Musgrave park) and they're in at the same time. Can't go to every gig if they're all on at the same time.

Yup and some of them will no doubt sell out but interesting snapshot now. I don't know how it compares to others years as think it usually started at end of May. Seems to be a month later this year. Maybe to avoid clashing with the Musgrave Park gigs.

The lineup is abysmal.
Yeah there's nothing there for me this year. Went to Mick Flannery and Susan O Neill last year. You'd miss the years of acts like The National playing there but they've gotten too big now.
7/10 so far for GIAF but cheaper prices than the others (eg €39.50 for the Mary Wallopers, Amble & Mogwai nights compared to €56.i5 in Fairview, €56.15 in Trinity & €51.40 in Vicar St respectively). A hefty capital city tax there, Cork only €4//€5 more expensive per act.
I'm currently on the bus up from Cork to it, it's gonna be a class gig in a savage venue

Cannot see official announcement anywhere, but seeing Byrne is on the todo list
Caught him at Bilbao bbk.
Was just amazing, with his choreographed dancing band. Drums, keys, all strapped to their backs like a marching band.

So excited for Pulp tonight. Their new album is brilliant and it's a two part show. Setlist from Glasgow looks excellent. Can't wait.
They always put on a great show and they really know how to play the hits. Never much filler. You will thoroughly enjoy it. Tonight is my 6th time seeing them I think.
They are handing out free pints of Madri in the Green room for anyone there before the gig…
