Ya wondering what games ye recommend ? I got world bundle and ive cyberpunk coming in the post . What are people playing and can recommend upgrade wise?
Yeah bought a physical copy of Mario Kart World. I've bought around 120/130 Mario games maybe more 🤔 over past 4 decades so another one for the Mario collection.
Good point that - I have a load of Switch 1 games to finish and the Switch 2 has me back playing Nintendo games again which is great.
I don't even need to buy another game for a while…Mario Kart has loads of content, the free upgrade for No Mans Sky is fekin brilliant and is dragging me back to that and I have my old library to finish as well.
Saying That though, I'm absolutely going to get a Cyberpunk cart
Sure what Switch 2 exclusives are there anyway? MKW comes with the bundle which softens the impact on the wallet at least. Can't see myself buying any 3rd party games that play better elsewhere for cheaper - Cyberpunk Ultimate is 40 odd quid on PS5 atm, not a chance I'd pay almost double for the Switch 2 version. Yep, when they come out with a new 3D Mario then I'll have to stump up the asking, but hopefully that will be worth it. 🙂
Fast Fusion is the only other game purchase so far.
I didn’t preorder a pro controller thinking I’d get one on release day, but the midnight launch meant I missed out the next day.
I managed to grab one from Smyths in Fonthill yesterday though. Well worth it even with the Pro 1 controller.
Loving the machine so far. Feels like a nice upgrade.
Mario Kart World is total mayhem, sometimes in a good way. I think the carnage works better on the Tour mode than GP.
I haven’t bought anything else. Torn between trying Cyberpunk or restarting one of the Zeldas.
Sadly it doesn't work with the pro 1 controller on the new console. Pro 2 controller only.
Really enjoying Fast Fusion. Brings back Wipeout 2097 memories.
If you hold the home button on the controller doesnt that wake the system?
Has anyone seen any decent 3rd party docks? Want to get something small that can be easily moved around?

I was in Smyths earlier to see what the stock situation was an saw Mario Kart World for 90 euro on shelves, along with the 75 euro Cyberpunk.
Bit mental actually seeing it in person. I'll stick with my 20 euro No Mans Sky and my Zelda upgrades for now!
New pro controller is brilliant, worth every penny. I have the original pro controller too which works fine, doesn’t feel anywhere near as nice as the new one though. Fyi it will do an update the first time you plug headphones into it.

I just ordered 1 off Amazon there, I have a switch 1 pro controller but it's annoying me I can't wake the system with it
Nintendo hide the startup for the original Gamecube. Video below shows how to access it on startup.
Is that email address account deleted or you have also forgotten the password to that account? If it's a case that the account was deleted, and it's something like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc, then you could try re-create that email address. If you have lost the password to that email account, then you might have better luck recovering access to the email account.
In Nintendo's defence, contacting support and claiming that you "lost access to the email" is a common phishing tactic a malicious person could use to gain access to your account. Especially when tied to MFA.
Activating MFA would have made you make note of backup codes, for this very event where you cannot access the MFA code.

Workmate was able to grab a Mario click and collect out in Carrickmines, so she's happy. Still a handful of standard down the country.

While the screen definitely isn’t OLED, it’s a massive improvement over my old launch Switch 1. Lovely, popping colours - just missing those perfect OLED blacks.
Great to finally play Nintendo games properly on a 4K screen too. And 60FPS Zelda is transformative - really amazing seeing that in action after it so clearly pushed the old hardware to its limits.
Spent the evening getting outfits for the first two pages of characters. Go to a Yoshi food place. Get and fire the food, change character and repeat. Got most of them now but ruffian Waluigi might be my favourite now 😆
