Back on topic: a band called Civic came up on my bandcamp feed (album of the day couple of days ago), interesting rock from Australia. They are playing The Workman’s Cellar on Friday 4th of July. Not sure I'll be free that day but I put them on the list anyway.

Completely forgot about her after her first album. Saw her in the Academy before her first album was released and she was brilliant and thought she was gonna be a star. Will look out for her new album when it comes out - signed to Mark Ronson's label.

Haha, small world indeed! She'd a couple of tracks released before her album Cheap Queen (such as 1950, Talia, Pussy is God) that I thought were really strong - hope she can fulfil her potential.
