Footage too graphic to post. Must be dozens of people ran over by a car in a packed street.
I don't think Michael Stone panicked .
It was a loyalist attack by him
I see the victim blaming has started. The poor innocent driver was forced to drive into a crowd of families because he was getting attacked for no apparent reason. A 53 year old white male definitely couldn’t do something like this especially as he’d a buggy in the car. His car was attacked because he was driving erratically down a road full of people. If you’re panicking you try to escape the situation as quickly as possible, you certainly don’t point the car towards innocent people.
that’s not the incident I referred to
I'm sure GB News or some odious similar outlet will have Kelvin McKenzie on to voice his 'views" before the day is out 🙄
Oh the police men . Yeah that was panicking
I didn’t claim it’. I said I heard it. As I said, no idea if it’s true. Keep your knickers on. No need to be so salty!
Mod - warned for breach of forum charter
Panicking is no excuse for mowing people down in any case.
Completely different incident
A previous outcome does not pre determine the cause of another, wind your neck in there
But the person that left the message was Almost sure…so he posted these exact works "hearing at least 3 dead!!
Don't know how you post those words from hearsay and not even match the hearsay in anyway
"No idea if it's true," but I'll spread the rumour anyway.
Every now and again, I forget how much of a cesspit this place is and stick my head back in. Thanks for reminding me.
You're way off there. That's a different incident altogether.
you’re strangely sensitive!!
Of course not. But I think what people were trying to ascertain is if it was a premeditated action or something which came about in the moment by an escalation of events.
Tbf, there's a lot of Irish over there tonight so speculating on casualties from an unconfirmed source isn't helpful.
We'll know soon anyway. Press conference shortly
Different incident alright but connected. The two soldiers drove into the crowd attending the funeral of one of the people killed by Michael Stone at the graveyard a few days previously.
Sure why didn't you wait yourself for something official before posting what you did…..
Press conference about to start by the looks of things.
Press conference:
Have a look at the various footage on this thread. I'd be flabbergasted if this was pre-meditated. Roads opened after the parade, the guy seems to have unwittingly driven into the wrong area, annoyed people with his presence, gotten attacked and tried to flee and hurt people in the process. How is that not tragic?
Some mad posts here downplaying it as a result of panic. Inexcusable ploughing people down because someone has damaged your car.
Only a short time apart though - the incident with the soldiers occurred at the funeral of one of Michael Stone's victims. And if anyone thinks they were two poor unfortunate soldiers doing a tour of Belfast who just happened to get lost just beside Milltown cemetary, well I have a lovely bridge to sell you.
And the people at the funeral were hardly wildly over reacting to have assumed that two armed males in a car watching the funeral of a terror attack victim were quite likely planning another attack that day too. It was a reasonable assumption.
No reports of deaths, that's something positive
No there aren't.
The amount of armchair experts, hype speculation merchants and psychologists on here is unreal. Absolutely definite they know what happened.
It'll take a bit of time before some sort of accurate picture of intent, panic etc is established around this tragedy.
Not being treated as terrorism
''Incident is not being treated as terrorism ''
Police
Previous talk of deaths was lies
No fatalities
whatever about why they were there, they weren’t there to kill. And the mourners didn’t set out to kill either: Circumstances led to their killing.. and they were human beings. Absolute awful what they suffered. anyway, it’s off topic.
