Yeah pretty much. Or you can simply keep submitting it to keep the trade in active. Just incase a car that meets your spec pops up in inventory. You can transfer your purchase and trade in to that.
for anyone thinking of wrapping.

No I have had model 3s and older model Y before. The new Y is a lovely drive, big step up from previous generation.
Picked up my 2023 LR on Saturday and i'm thrilled with it. Feels so much more of a step up from the RWD M3.
Anyone have a suggestion for nice molded mud flaps for the Y?
The stock ones look like absolute shite.
Amazon, Ali express etc
Thanks, but i was looking more for suggestions on ones people have already purchased.
I got these ones for my 3, no issues whatsoever and look fine, just remember these are all hard plastic so there will be ne flexing should you catch them on the road, never happened to me yet on the low lying 3

I’ve bought from both. They are the same moulds, made in the same Chinese factories.
Amazon just gets here quicker than AE but they charge more.
Are they for the Juniper model or older model?
They're for the older shape, non Juniper.
Thanks, they look great, will pick them up.
Possible Model Y Performance testing at The Ring.
A bit odd that the camo is literally hiding nothing, there’s no additional facia added underneath to hide any design changes.
It’s the done thing for all testing cars, so not odd at all. It’s surprising how much detail these camo wraps hide.
Also, car brands may just be testing one single metric here. There’s one red caliper and one standard caliper so could be simply testing pads etc
Or it could just be Hans from Stuggart with his own RWD wrapped car and has fooled everyone!
Not Stuttgart Hans :)
in this pic, they’ve camo’ed the wheel design, but in the other pics it’s really clear that nothing is being hidden - it’s a fully complete car with a wrap
i like the wheels!
Very like the Model S Plaid wheels.
Looks good, but can they even see out thru the window when it's not so sunny?
I thought they'd just cable-tied the hubcaps to stop them falling off on the autobahn :)
Test drove the new Y last week. Very impressed. Very close to pulling the trigger on a RWD Long Range. How is this model for pulling/towing a 6.5m rib? It'll only be for a short distance so range not an issue.
TIA
I think it can only tow 1600kg. Is that enough for your use case? When towing at the limit, expect half the range.
For anyone considering removing the aero covers on their new Y.
Wouldn't be gone on either personally - loads of aftermarket covers around though, here's my own M3 with the stock wheels.
Without is marginally better but they’re both pretty awful.
Ugly and the biggest negative of the car imo. But the 20" are just not practical on irish roads, plus they lower the range which is just dumb. They could easily have given some nice 19" options.
If I was buying one, I’d probably leave the covers on and source a set of the 20” wheels in the coming months if a breaker or pick one up one by one.
I'll primarily be on bumpy rural roads for my day to day driving. Every review I've read/watched has said stick to the 19" for a smoother ride and better mileage. I do much prefer the 20" though. My current car that I'm trading in has a beautiful set of wheels. So this is the only sore point for me in the purchase. I'll most likely get over it though and maybe watch out for some stylish after market aero covers.
Installed these the other day on the Y.
They look SO Much better than the ones delivered with the car.
I was watching a review and it mentioned that alcantara trim is only on the AWD model. Is this true? I can't find any info on different trim levels. I had thought the trim is exactly the same, except for white or black seats.
I loved the interior, but it was an AWD I test drove. I'll be none too pleased if my RWD version is cheaper inside.
