Options 2,3 & 4 will all just put more traffic on a the allready congested road where we have garda and fire services.... these planning guys are dense.

Yes, all the options are pretty much going to involve either lots of diversions, busier traffic in less desirable areas, or both.

So buses will take longer then. Though I doubt it will happen there is nothing in the new proposal about how they expect the SAC protection to allow the development.
Plus building two new bridges for traffic over the Slaney ? Can't see that happening.
A bridge and a footbridge. SAC is a nonsense if it supercedes homes and businesses,there must be some kind of leeway. Kevin Moran seems fairly confident anyway that it will go ahead. It's a tiny section of the river that will no doubt recover in a short number of years.
I was thinking about the proposed motorway which also needs a bridge over The Slaney though its been that long since I've read the planned route.
The council apparently want to cut back on the public realm aspect of the Floods site for more car parking along with cheaper fencing to save money.
It's not a huge site dunno how they're going to fit all they want in there.
They could put it beside the existing bridge across to the carpark outside the Abbey Centre. Less of a journey up and down if coming from the Shannon side.
The Wexford Rd is still quite busy at certain times of the day. Adding it to the Mill Park Rd doesn't seem ideal.

Apparently Enniscorthy is to get a virtual shopping centre with small local stores grouping together for online sales.
A real shopping centre would have even better.
Sometimes I think WCC are trying to destroy this town, so many problems with this idea.
A bricks and motor shopping center in needed with some kind of park and ride option to the main street & east side for free. This would help elderly people access the whole town. I would envisage it going from say the petites down the main street across the river and up to the girls school on the east side and back down by FAS and across again 4 stops in total.
Personally i would capitalise on the site where murphys cash and carry is and build something there because they are leaving that soon for a site on the Dublin road.
As per usual Enniscorthy has been forgotten about by the WCC. It wasn't that long ago there was a plan put in place to build an Islamic Cultural Centre worth over €1million. Now they are creating a "Virtual Shopping Centre", instead of a real one. What about people who are not IT literate? Or people who want to try clothes on etc. It's just another way for big companies to make money with less costs towards employement and other overheads.
