any chance ye will do us a favor next week , for old times sake, 😂
For old times sake, we will offer up a loss 😁
Pat Ryan will certainly be sending them out to win and Limerick won't want to leave it until the last day. Should be some contest.
Absolutely, but I reckon if you offered Pat the scenario of beating Waterford at hoime for a potential place in the Munster final - he woud have taken it.
We could well be playing Limerick several times this year in the championship - hopefully.
Tipp and Waterford will have a bearing too. If Waterford win we are in top 3 bar some massive scoring difference change.
Ladies football, Cork 0-6 Waterford 0-6 HT
Looks like one way traffic in the 2nd half, Cork 1-9 Waterford 3-12 FT
Watched the Tyrone v Kerry u20 game there.
Tyrone won by 6. Think it was fair reflection on game.
When ya see that you realise how far Cork football is. Same in minor.
Kerry beating us easily but they themselves still bit off winning it.
Short term I be really fearful for Cork football.
Sorry for being really negative about it. I was trying not post in here about footballers cause it be very too much negativity.
Ricken seems lot more optimistic on Cork underage football. I hope he proves me right but i don't see it unless a serious look into a overhaul.
on clubber tomorrow
Well we'll be trying to beat Limerick to keep our unbeaten run against them going.😁
We'll be marking the 20th anniversary of the 2010 all Ireland win in five years time. We're firmly on course towards exceeding our 1990 to 2010 all Ireland drought in football sadly.
When Cork won the All-Ireland in minor and U-20 in 2019 I remember reading Cork supporters on Facebook saying it was a certainty that we would win a senior All-Ireland "in a few years time".
Those two All-Ireland wins counted for nothing in the end though.
What happened with those teams that they were not brought up the senior ranks? Bad management and decisions? Looking at our football group right now I think we are the weakest and the less likely team to come out. We won't beat Kerry and I think Kerry will put up a score on us next time around to let us know that the last game was a minor blip on their behalf, we won't beat Roscommon and I can't see us beating Meath away either.
We arguably should have beaten Kerry a few weeks ago and there's no real reason to fear Roscommon or Meath. Of course i'm well aware that we could beat Kerry and in typical Cork football fashion go on to lose the other games!
Minor football, Cork 0-7 Tipperary 0-8 HT
Cork 1-13 Tipp 0-16 FT. going to extra time
Good win for the minors 2-17 v 0-20 aet
That would be so Cork alright. 😂
We won't beat Kerry when we play them again. They will be much more wary of us this time around. They won't need extra time this coming time.
Think we will lose all 3 games. Roscommon another bogey team for us lately.
Very hard to know. To be honest we should be focusing on the Roscommon and Meath games in my view as Kerry are a level above everyone.
Roscommon were fairly poor against Galway. Meath at home will be tough and kicking 2 pointers on a pitch they know well will be easier.
What are people's tips for parking on Sunday in Limerick?
park at home on the couch would be my tip
In a way even if we do lose we have a great chance of putting things right against Waterford. I have to laugh at John Kiely asking for the Limerick support to raise the tempo this Sunday. I think we get under their skin a little bit, they are desperate to beat us. We could be meeting Limerick again further down the line, but it would be great to keep our unbeaten run going against them for a third successive championship game.
Kielÿ was right. There is so much expectation not that it's either lose and be sad or win and it's expected (older Cork fans will remember the feeling)
Cork haven't gotten under the skin but much like Clare are good enough to give us that old fashioned fear and yere fans reminded us what it's like to be feral.
Park in the city centre and walk or bus out. It's essentially the same as PuC but with better buses.
….
A good place to park would be near the roundabout after you go through the tunnel toll but only if you go early. Otherwise park in the city and walk out
Another option is the field beside Greenhills lots of parking only 5 euro and fairly good traffic management afterwards. Very short walk to the grounds.
Barrett back from suspension for Harnedy
Edit: No number 19 below, should be Cormac O'Brien
Agreed. Main thing is to go early
The fact that you are trolling on our thread is proof that we live rent free in your heads.😁 As someone else said on another thread hurling was not invented in 2018! Of course it would be disappointing to lose but it won't be the end of the world. We'll have another chance to put it right.
