Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.

Signed up on phone, and was brought straight to ticket purchase links page, for the 3 small gigs, I am unclear, but I think they might be unique links, as shared them and it didn't work for them
Good afternoon all,
I'm looking for one Limerick ticket. Is their any links available, would love to see them in my hometown.
I was signed up to the website for years. Any link would be amazing, would greatly appreciate it.
Just signed up now - did you get the link automatically when you signed up or were you signed up already?
New single out this week (Thursday), so drumming up publicity for new album in the next month probably.
Wonder why it was announced so last minute?
Your **** me, I'm in work the Monday, dublin the Tuesday and I live 20 mins from limerick but can't make that show either, only said to the wife last night I think they will be in the Olympia before the end of the year and now there 20 mins away and I can't freakin go
Tickets arleady onsale, got mine, you have to sign up to email list, to get the special ticket purchase links, if you just look on TM the 3 gigs do not appear
Now this is good, it is Wolf Alice, also playing Set Theatre Kikenny, and Dolans Limerick
As the venue stated in the ITs article I posted. You're still assuming that this information was communicated to the band.
I saw them for 3 songs in a small tent at 11 in the morning at GM and they were ferocious. Bare chested, high intensity, great musicians. Music not quite my thing but a great live act.
While I completely support Murder Capital's stance of course, it is and has been for a long time pretty clear that the Germans have zero tolerance for any overt displays of support for Palestine. Absolutely mind boggling how a country with their recent history have managed to get it so catastrophically wrong again. It would make you weep.
Their suggestion of replacing the flag with a 'Free Palestine' banner sounded perfectly reasonable to me.
Nope. Not assuming.
You're assuming they were made aware of it. First I've ever heard of such a policy at any gig.
That is all true. But if the band knew about the no flags/banners policy, they should have sorted it out well in advance, and not have people waste their money in travelling to the gig, and presumably many will have paid for accommodation. And that's on top of the disappointment for the fans of the show being cancelled last minute.
Live show could do it for yea. Intense gigs from all reports
I've tried, but so far i haven't managed to get into them.
Maruja - Whelans 31st October.
Tickets on sale 16th May
1st album coming in Sept after numerous EPs. Anticipate this already to be one of the Gigs of the Year🤘
I think that this band (and others that regularly appear on this thread) should never be cancelled for pointing out clear genocide. Iveagh in two months will have none of this nonsense nor any criticism of our artists using their voices to stop children being killed.
I agree with you that the debate on Palestine is for elsewhere but I believe that it's also worth expressing support for our artists and their stance on this and other threads.
I posted similar but removed it as not sure if the right place for it. Kieran McGuinness had one of them on Nova earlier. They said they were looking to play a gig in a local park instead. Ridiculous that the gig was cancelled
And now The Murder Capital join the growing list of Irish bands (Lankum, Kneecap, etc) having gigs cancelled in Germany.
Edit, wrong thread
I absolutely hate Ticketmaster but they advertise final price including all fees now upfront for regular priced tickets.
Full Price Ticket: €64.70 x 1
Fees
Service Fee: €7.55
Venue Facility Fee: €2.00
Which makes €74.25 which is what you see when you look for a regular priced standing ticket for this.
Noted an interesting one today.
Bought a one republic (standing) ticket in November of last year for €64.70
Took a look there today and the same tickets are now priced €74.25
What makes it interesting is that those tickets that are for sale now are not marked as either platinum tickets nor are they resale tickets. To date, I've only ever noticed the 'platinum' tickets that when unsold generally go back to just being regular tickets closer to the date of the gig.
Is this the true dynamic pricing in action now? Where tickets will generally get more expensive closer to the date of the gig? 🤔
That's the fellas alright. Playing Green Man, billed as 'electronic shoegaze' which sounds like it would be worth a listen. I'll give them a spin so.
I think so, played behind a screen and it was a weird trip through genres. Didn't see it all but sounded good.
Folks anyone who was at Borderline in February catch a crowd called HONESTY?
Misread that and thought Cypress Hill were playing Cork. I was about to grab my tickets!
Henry the Human Fly?
