Soffit vents blocked after spray foam attic insulation

Hi,

I had my attic insulated recently with closed cell spray foam. It certainly feels warmer and less draftly there now. I've noticed that the foam was applied in a way that the soffit vents are covered. Is this normal? Are there any risks? Thanks.

Ventilation in the attic is essential - can you scrape/poke away the foam else call the people that did it back to fix what they broke

If so, Can the soffit ventilation feed into the vent card space?

It looks like vent cards were installed and they do feed into the soffit vents (the DOW says 'Breathable ventilation card installed 50mm from felt' and I can see the vents when I remove the foam.

There is a 25-year guarantee. One thing that confused me is that is says "The attic space is an
unvented space." on the DOW (in spite of the soffit vents)

Given that vent cards are present, can I leave the insulation as is (without poking holes through the foam to the soffit vents)?

the ventilation needs to be above the insulation. as teh spray foam is between the rafters and not the joists, then the ventilation needs to be over the spray foam, thus the vent cards. If the attic was vented over the joists at this stage, then the spray foam would be rendered useless.
