I actually do not think we have been too bad, no motivation to win and a changed midfield that does not have the minutes between them and we have not been outplayed. Especially considering their midfield cost 230m, not counting Caicedo at LB, and ours 25m.
There's just an understandable lack of focus, which is why I dont subscribe to the idea that we can learn much from this and the remaining games. The whole hungover Liverpool thing is real, but not literally correct. Chelsea have an obvious motivation but in truth I've not been overly impressed by them, relatively speaking - which is par for their season TBH.
Plus, Cole Palmer is playing for them. Nobody can stand up to that.
This and the remaining 3 games are utterly meaningless. There’ll be no proper application in the training and preparation will be half arsed. Just one big party.

Chelsea is so…I just don't know. They have spent 1.6bn euro in the past 3 years and you can see quality players out there. For all our lamenting on Neville on Palmer, he is still a good player. Same for Caicedo, I can see why he cost more than 100m euro, but for a collection of quality players they are distinctly average.
