Ah now you have to give the cross-section money shot on those!

Alas, they're gone. But I had another set of twins in the oven, so... here you go, covering almost all angles.

They're not identical because they were baked separately, the 'slimmer' one in a metal bread tin (and I pinched too hard when removing it), the other in a silicone one.

It'll take me a while to type it, I'll do it later from the laptop.

No knead Focaccia. Was much more fluffy yesterday. Keeping the rest for sambo bread

No, it didn’t get time to properly set 😀.

Difficult bake, lovely texture of the sponge. Not over sweet like shop bought. I like it.

    I would have sworn that's a Bruce Bogtrotter cake…

A dodgy Mother’s Day bake “Victoria Sponge” c/w crack in top sponge and both sponges cooked “lobsided”. I thought the batter would spread out evenly but, no.

    Must practice this more.

    Raspberry.

    (No icing sugar 😵‍💫)

Mrs G! made Jam Roly Poly yesterday. One of my childhood favourites with custard and cream. Just managed to get a pic before it was gone!

An apple sponge cake. Somewhat overdone because I thought it wasn't completely cooked in the middle but it turned out OK. There's none left anyway and the parents went home with a quarter of it 😊

    Brioche before _4301692.jpg Brioche _4301712.jpg

Brioche (half of them) They went a bit wonky as the dough got carried away with the rising and just tore itself apart in some instances.

Something like Cinnabons, I love eating these kinds of buns!

I used some more aquafaba to make these coconut "buns" - I only had a silicone mould for Easter eggs the size of Kinder eggs at hand, so I used that.

    They were yum.

Wanted to do something different to a normal loaf so went with a Sourdough Fougasse. First attempt and quite tricky to shape, but it was delicious.

I used to make fougasse all the time. Don’t worry too much about the shape, stretch and pull as much as you can.

Quite retro but also quite tasty! Classic Pineapple Upsidedown Cake. Hadn't made one in years.

Vegetarian Lasagne and two loaves at the same time. ( I prefer veg lasagne over minced beef by a long shot, I’m not a vegetarian)

Probably not vegetarian then because of Mozzarella 😀😀.

fab - would love to see a slice of the lasagne to see the contents.. I too prefer veg las. over the beef variety..

some garlic butter on that bread toasted would be fab with it i would imagine
