Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Look sure, if you are worried about how the audience might behave then give it a miss.
Not going. Great play but no interest in travelling for it.
Keeping to the slightly off (gig) theme - an unusual evening at the NCH might be of interest to some on here - An evening with Priscilla Presley - 1st of October 2025 (Limited Meet & Greet)
An Audience with Priscilla Presley | NCH | Live Music & Events | National Concert Hall
If you are with Singular Artists you should have a pre-sale link to get you in before 10am!
Hey nice beaver!
Anyone know if it's still possible to leave the Olympia once your ticket is scanned in? Wouldn't mind trying to get a pit pass but also don't want to be waiting around for 2 hours plus for band start time in the event I don't get one.
Cheers
I don't believe so. They don't offer wristbands (for return access) and tickets are single scan so if you left, you wouldn't be able to return.
Not sure you can. I was at Orla Gartland last month, was upgraded to early entry and they told us that as soon as we get the wristband we had to stay in. We didn't have to stay in the pit area, but we had to be inside the venue.
Beth Orton and Sam Amidon playing 2 gigs in Pavilion Theatre in July
Definitely not, or most would leave after getting their passes. I've asked twice and they're very clear that you have to stay. The venue wants to make cash rather than that custom go elsewhere. Depending on the act it needn't be two hours in advance and even if it is you've got a support act for circa 40 mins of that wait.
Sam Amidon is the only artist at whose gig I walked out early. Excruciating night.
One or two here who might enjoy this in the Bello Bar on Sunday night: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/wild-rocketunbelievable-lakeubu-imperator-tickets-1292821025489?aff=ebdsshother&utm_share_source=listing_android
Won't be there myself as i'll be stuck into the snooker.
Fair enough. Don't shoot the messenger! ;)
Well folks. Am selling two tickets for Kevin Hart in the SSE Arena Belfast this Sunday 4th of May. Cant make it. It’s basically sold out I think. Absolutely killer seats, right in the middle of 2nd row on the floor in front of stage. Selling for £50 / €60 each - if you are interested or know of anyone. The price is MUCH lower than the face value I paid too 👍👍. Cheers. Have bought and exchanged concert tickets on here before (can screenshot proof of tiks & other interactions)
If wrong thread plz point me in the right direction 😂
Model/Actriz playing Whelans 26 November. Buzzing for that one.
Saw them at GM last year. Absolute mentallers. Too much for me. Really like some of their stuff, the performance just over the top for me, he was in the crowd for most of the gig, it was late, dark, I may have been slightly pissed....just more that I could handle. Loads of potential though, sure they'll be great in Whelan's.
Never heard of them, had a listen. I think i'll pop along to that one. Cheers!
Viagra boys last night in the Olympia was unbelievable, never seen anything like it, managed to snag their latest album signed as well to top it off
Looking at clips from Lady Gaga's recent gigs at Coachella and Brazil I'd be shocked if she doesnt come back around next summer for a stadium tour after her arena tour, could do Glasto unless its a fallow year???
It is a fallow year
BRMC announced European dates for the howl anniversary tour, no Irish dates 😔😔
Killswitch Engage with Hatebreed, Fit for an Autopsy and decapitated for Telegraph Building 19th and national stadium 20th of oct
And on the opposite end of the spectrum...... Joshua Radin is playing Cypress Ave July 15th, Whelan's July 16th and Dolan's July 17th.
What a lineup!
Baxter back again

Just wondering if anybody managed to catch the brilliant, iconic Sasha & Digweed in the Academy/Index on Saturday or Sunday night? Anytime before I go to such a gig, I am always thinking before it that I am getting too old for these gigs, then when I do go and see hundreds if not more of likeminded ageing ravers 😊, then it's thank god I went. They just don't do DJs like these two anymore, two absolute legends of the decks, and thankfully they are regular visitors to Dublin.
Yeah was a great gig. It was an older crowd at it for sure.
Lads I've a ticket for King Creosote in the Button Factory tomorrow night, can't make it now. Anyone fancy it? Free gratis.
An interesting event on Friday 19th September at the Button Factory: Michael Rother, of Neu! and Harmonia fame.
Foggy Notions is the promoter and in the press release they mention it will be a mix of Neu!, Harmonia and solo material.
Very tempting.
Michael rother of neu! & harmonia and kraftwerk
