Hoping a New Thread may fix the posting issues.
When your team has won the league:
Meanwhile over at Manchester United:
Been a Red since the late 70's. My main fear after 2020 was that we mightn't win it again for some considerable time with the fans present. Yesterday put that to bed. Incredible scenes at the final whistle and after. Never seen anything like it tbh.
Watching Alot reciprocate Klopp singing his song to the crowd....I never really believed we'd be looking forward a year later with a title.
its gas that its Curtis pulling him back too 😂
don't know about you guys but I'm going straight to the pub after work!
A lot of pundits yesterday saying Liverpool will be partying for the next 4 weeks but I think Slot will be focused. He'll want to hit the 90 points
I'll be partying for the next 4 weeks
Parade is going to be lit
Decent shout that, I can barely work today
When is the parade ?
Will have to be the 26th, day after the last game and a UK bank holiday
26th, I'll be front and centre! need to find my 90s Candy bucket hat !!
Managed to get a ticket to the Sandon for the last game, they released some to the waiting list last night - always feel better having a plan than trying to scramble to find somewhere
I was hugely jealous of those who got to go to the CL one in 2019 (I was still over in Madrid - was nearly impossible for anyone other than the squad to get back in time for it) so CANNOT WAIT for this one.
whoever of us are over we should meet up for some beverages
lol
What a fantastic season and so unexpected.
What should really worry rival clubs is that there is room for improvement in this team next year, I actually don't think we've been brilliant for big chunks of the season. With the right signings, we could be in with a great chance to challenge again next year.
I wonder if there's any chance at all of Trent changing his mind and signing? Looking at the shameful antics of Real Madrid over the weekend and you'd really have to question whether you would want to be associated with such a despicable team of self-indulgent clowns. It's some comparison with the Liverpool team who, even allowing for my personal biases, seem like a bunch of very likable chaps.
thats class thanks for sharing.
Parade confirmed for Monday 26th May. Can’t wait.
Anyone hear what happened to Conor Bradley ?
A knock in training. Slot said.
Just read back through the whole thread in my hungover haze
What a beautiful day. Love that we crossed the line in such style, the disallowed goal that would have put us 2-1 up was the point it was inevitable, we had Spurs rattled and our boys wanted to shine
Got lots of cool videos from mates at the game, sounded amazing. Very jealous, but I'm over for the final match and parade so no complaints. I was lucky enough to go to Istanbul and I never thought it would be topped, but this is close. I hate underplaying Klopp's title but this felt so much more real, winning it on the pitch with fans, just incredible
And Slot serenading Klopp, chefs kiss. I'm not crying, you're crying 🤣
Thanks for all the pics and videos in the last few pages, loved them all
Campiones! Campiones! Ole ole ole 😃
Great to win No. 20! As a Liverpool fan, one of the things that bothered me about the European Super League and leaving the Premier League was that we would forever be on 19 and one less than United. Couldn't believe the club was going to have that as a legacy. So good to climb back on our perch and win 6 European Cups, there is only room for one at the top!
I think the season has had many key moments but the standouts for me were the come back against Brighton to go top of the league after Arsenal and City both lost earlier in the day. Then, it felt like the league was on, particularly at the time when we were told we hadn't played anyone good yet. After that it was the Nunez winner at Brentford to help settle the nerves after Christmas and inspire a strong period against Brentford and Bournemouth. Finally for me it was the news that West Ham had beaten Arsenal at home. They could have moved to within 5 points of us with us giving a game in hand but needing to play City next. I think it just settled everyone down to go, this isn't like recent title races in other years, we can stumble a bit and still get over the line.
Big summer ahead, hope we invest from a point of strength and look to build again. Next target, retain the title for the first time in 30 years!
May 25th 2005 we saw Liverpool lift the CL.
May 25th 2025 we'll see Liverpool lift the PL.
I love May 25th! We should have it officially named LFC Day!
😂😂
Dominic King said something very interesting during the post match reaction on the LFC TV channel yesterday (YouTube).
We haven't even seen Liverpool start to play Arne Slot's football yet, the football played this season has been his tweaks to Jurgen Klopp's system. King interviewed Arne Slot's mentor, Jan Everse, last week who told him that what comes next will be Slot's own playing style that he demonstrated at Feyenoord where 90% of the game is squeezed inside the opposition's half.
Paywall article: You ain't seen nothing yet, Arne's better than Klopp and Pep
If this proves to be true then Arne Slot is a lot smarter than anyone has given him credit for.
He didn’t even have the full squad at the start of the season either.
great win lads…. just class….

And we've had plenty of injuries as well throughout the season yet the rent a mouths are saying we haven't.
Stat of the season for the Japanese Warrior. Endo in a league of his own 😂
For me the two defining moments of the season were, The draw at home to Fulham having been behind twice and a man down. Arsenal drew at home to Everton that weekend, the two late goals to beat Brentford away, and beating Man City away after Arsenal had lost to West Ham. After that I knew we were going to win it.
