Photographic Services Offered/Wanted - [Please READ Rules in Opening Post]
This thread is the official thread where posts relating to users seeking photographic services or offering phtographic services are permissible within the boards photography forum.

Replies to posts on this thread by PM ONLY - No replies on thread whatsoever and no exceptions.
Photographic Services Wanted
If you are looking for a photographer please post your advertisement on adverts.ie in the first instance. You may then create a single post on this thread. This post should be brief and include a link to adverts.ie – for example;
“Seeking a Wedding Photographer in July 2010, Check my post on adverts [link] for more detail”.
Such posts will be time bound and 'run' for a default period of two weeks. Out of courtesy to the moderation of this forum it would be appreciated if you could inform us when you have been sorted and your post will be then deleted but in any event and without any communication from you the post will be deleted after a period of two weeks. You may request for the two week duration to be extended and a reasonable approach will be taken to reasonable requests.
Photographic Services Offered
The forum is in a position for regular users to offer their services in a manner which simply indicates that they are available should another user be seeking such services . As with Photographic Services Wanted, please keep the post brief such as;
“Johnny/MaryPhotogrpher available for Weddings, Portraits, Events – please PM for more details”
You MAY include a link to an adverts post or your web site but please keep the overall post brief. Do NOT post rates, samples of work, testimonials, etc... All of this can be conducted on a one to one basis through your subsequent interaction with the potential client.
This is a service available for regular forum users. These posts will not be removed like the Services Wanted posts (within two weeks) but are dependent on users remaining active within the forum. This is so that the facility isn't abused by 'one post wonders', users who don't contribute on the forum, and users that simply are no longer active. The moderators accept that this will be hit and miss but will endeavour to maintain a fair hand in the approach. If a user is removed and become active once more their post can be reinstated.
In Conclusion:
Please play fair and accept the rules in the spirit in which they are intended. If there is a sniff of a flame war starting or off topic posting, posts or the entire facility may be removed without further notice and offending users will be subject to normal sanctions.
