you have to take the staff anyway so i guess they will know what to do 😉
Employees:There are a number of employees who are employed on a full-time basis. The purchaser will be responsible for complying with the statutory provision of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations. Further details are available from the selling agent.
That's for sure my next life I'll be a trillionaire with a massive palace and tonnes of workers cooking and cleaning for me.
That place would go to **** in a week without staff.
Reminds me of when George Harrison was stabbed. Was being wheeled out on the stretcher and a new garderner had just started and George said "So what do you think of the job so far?"
When you zoom in the lack of symmetry jumps out. Uneven numbers of windows each side of the main house, and the odd arrangement of the chimneys.
Does that mean you are buying the company that owns the house rather than the house itself directly?
It just means the staff employed are transferring to the new owners under the same T&Cs as the old one.
They gave them all a fabulous raise before they left.
All from dog food. Brilliant! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Also it would bother me trying to work out where to sit of an evening.
This made me laugh. Same here.
But what does that actually imply?
The place has stables. Doers that mean that they have a horse trainer? And by buying the place I'd have to keep him employed even though I don't have horses? That seems more like buying a business than buying a house.
If there was an option to rollover contracts from one owner to the next I'd understand, but by forcing the buyer to take on the contracts, surely the amount that they have to pay should be included in the description.
First thing that needs to be done is to change every single BLUE thing in that house to another colour! Seriously people! Have they no imagination? No surprise to see all the visible cloths were blue…
I know what TUPE means. My question was whether the house was owned by a business. If they were employed directly by Reynolds then TUPE would not apply. TUPE only applies to employees of a business.
surely in the sitting room ;)
Clonhugh Lodge
Decisions, decisions. I'd sit in the smallest informal sitting room, I think it is picture 10 (though I'd change the carpet). I think it's closest to the kitchen as well. The white bedroom would be mine. :)
The more formal rooms would be for special occasions and entertaining. I imagine christmas would be lovely in a big formal dining room, and space for HUGE christmas trees throughout!
It's nice to imagine.
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it. 😉
850k for a house that you'd likely demolish. You think it was the Hollywood Hills, not Kellystown!

Location, location, location.
But that's it, it's Kellystown, not even the Sandyford side of Threerock. Kilmashogue Lane maybe, but nonsense for what you're getting.
As you said you really would demolish it if you bought it. €850000 for a site is madness.
Its an acre 8 miles from Dublin City Centre.
In similar vein..
The End, Baily, Howth, Co. Dublin - Lisney Sotheby's International Realty Dublin North - 4804494 - MyHome.ie Residential
I really wanted to see inside that one in Howth! I know the plan or the suggestion is to demolish it but it looks like it might be interesting inside.
welcome to the property market in 2025 😄

As property descriptions go, that is…succinct. And not a lot of help.
I have been in The End Baily Howth and the house is noting special apart from the views of Dublin Bay. It needs complete renovation or a new house like suggested. Take a look at pictures 12 and 13 of the driveway down. I found the drive down a bit disconcerting, you are at a great height looking down at Dublin Bay and when in an SUV your barely able to see the low guard wall each side. The drive down is best described as a narrow bridge just one car wide with a very low guard wall each side.
The house on right belongs to the family with a chain of fresh fish shops and about three houses down from that is Glenlion House which jailed solicitor Michael Lynn bought.
That's one hell of an expensive driveway. It reminds of of an American freeway(as they call them) the way it's on stilts.
Was just gonna say that about the driveway. Getting materials delivered for the new build would be an epic pain in the neck.
This one has been here a number of times before but apparently was last sold in 2013. It hasn't changed other than the asking price - €265k for the smallest house in Dublin and according to an article in TheJournal this morning, bidding has reached 300k. Crikey.

You would want to be very fond of minimalist living to survive in that place. Nowhere to store your underwear for flips sake.
This is surely a little bargain for someone? BER F is not ideal but it looks ready to move into.
