Happy belated birthday @CheerLouth 40 is the new 30.
I think I am the odd one out, no connection to Baldoyle.
Had to break my leave from work today to attend a seminar in engineers ireland I had totally forgotten about.
No idea how I managed to double book myself but either way the alarm going off at 6am was a shock to the system.
An Engineering seminar must be the next best thing to Christmas to you DvB
Not when it's smack bang in the middle of my first day's off work since Christmas!!
Some good presentations so far though to be fair.
Belated happy birthday @CheerLouth , hope you enjoyed the break.
Belated Happy Birthday @CheerLouth you're catching up with the rest of us now :)
What a glorious sunny day out there today. It was beautiful.
Car Said 22 degrees after our hurling match this afternoon. The big red blub on me backed that up!!
A very happy Meathman this evening, nerves were shot in the last ten minutes. Great to see not beat even before the game starts against Dublin. Brings me back to the good ol days when Leinster was a big deal in gaelic football.
I suppose after 15 years ye were due a win v Dublin. Congrats!
Great match @BK5 - see you on Jones' Road in two weeks 😁
G'wan the wee county! Would love to see you win it after coming so close the last 2 years.
Genuinely cant remember the last time I missed a Leinster final… (ignoring the covid year) so will enjoy the day off😀
Hoping for a good game, Meath teams have been breaking fans hearts with false dawns for years. We could be useless after the high and the effort of beating Dublin yesterday.
I wouldn't begrudge Louth a provisional title anyway, they have been putting in a serious effort the last few years and have built a good squad.
One of my neighbours has her Louth flag up outside the house already 😄
My Kerry relatives are over joyed at the result. I am old enough to remember great Meath teams putting it up to Dublin regularly.
I was at 3 of the 4 game series in the 1991 championship. Absolute humdingers of games, was gutted when Dublin blew a 3 point lead late in the last one to go out, but to be fair that was some Meath team, they ended up going all the way to the All Ireland final losing the final to Down iirc.
Having chats with Meta AI!
I was at them too. We were only kids then, with the whole of our adulthood in front of us. I blinked twice and the last 34 years have flown by 😮
AI is finally good for something!
Supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far, great to be stuck in work isn't it !?! 😄
Daughter felt off after her match last night & was unwell this morning so with her not going to school, took the hit & stayed working from home today to keep an eye on her. Will not miss the drive in & back if its to be as warm as forecast!!!
For the fullest experience may stick on Christmas FM classical in the background for the craic!! A reminder of that day in the summer of 2020 that Christmas FM came back for one day and we were all working from home and the weather was glorious!!
What a day
An absolute stunner!
Gorgeous down here too 🤩.
Only thing that will make it better is if the weekend is lousy! Bet the good weather will break about 5pm on Friday. 😆
Actually it’s set to break 11pm Thursday 😂😂
just in case any of us try to leave early Friday.
Happy 1st of May Everyone!
First day of Summer and it's a beauty.
There was talk of showers developing later today but all the weather apps seem to show it staying pretty nice now. Sweet!
It rained overnight here and is cloudy this morning but still pleasant. Top temperatures of 14 degrees today though, it was 23 yesterday 😄
Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come 🌼.
Are you getting your sea swims in? Fabulous weather for it.
