New Thread to continue discussion for General Premier League. Old thread closed.
Massive numbers of empty seats, again. But yet we’re expected to believe that the people who turned city into the highest revenue generating club in the world cant sell the tickets for their own club.
Sickner
Man City have surely won this match deep into added time. ☹️
That's a sickener for Villa. Guardiola celebrating the goal on the sideline like they've just won the Premier League and Champions League all rolled into one. That goal is huge in terms of the 5 into 3 doesn't go race(Liverpool and Arsenal are secure for Champions League qualification).
And that's it, it's over.
Doku did brilliantly.... Example of the stopped clock being right now and then.
Villa created very little second half. Can't really complain about that result
The run and pass from Doku was brilliant, if he was more consistent he would be lethal.
While it was probably not in doubt this win cements City's CL spot
According to sky Ange is a gonner tomorrow whatever the result .
In fairness to City fans, a lot of them on social media last week saying tonight would be like this as all the empty seats were £71 or above a ticket
The working class man can't afford to go to football in England's top level anymore. Attendances in lower leagues are increasing regularly all over England
Spurs don't play tomorrow. Do you mean next week Europa game?
According to SS he’s a gonner any outcome .
Which is probably fair enough as if you take the 2nd half of last season and this season, he’s not won enough league games.
The Guardian are reporting that Utd are looking at buying Cunha, he’d be a decent signing. They also reckon Hojland can be offloaded for £30m. Not sure sure who’d be willing to pay that much for someone who has been so poor.
Hojlund will probably go on loan with an option to buy, he done ok in his first season (16 goals) especially the Champions League so some clubs might want to see if he can get some form back.
What game are spurs playing tomorrow?
Update on the above - still one of the most interesting races still to be run in this incredible season
Can Palace do it? Can they reach the magical 50pts?
They have gotten 7 points in the past 6 games to put them just 6pts away from the holy grail
5 games, 6pts needed
They still have Arsenal tonight and Liverpool on the final day of the season - both toughies Leaving Spurs away, Forest at home and Wolves at home to get 2 wins from
But can they make a massive step tonight, making Liverpool champions along the way? Here's hoping
Come on you Eagles
That it doesn’t matter what they do in remaining games no matter when they are on the decision has been made
Well nuts. At least it's settled early and I don't have to watch the game!
Time to put on a movie
Lol anytime I do that the game ends 4-3
Some finish...
my god there is some quality operators in the prem. Eze take a bow.
Palace could up leading, great last minute defending by Kiwior to prevent a certain second...
Nketia… he looks like someone who really doesn't want to score against his old team. Should be off the pitch playing like this
Hard to believe Palace paid £25 million for him.
small chance for liverpool tonight. 2-2 with 10 mins left
Terrible from Saliba to give the ball away like that. He has that in his locker.
Cracker of a shot from Mateta, who's having another great season.
Why are all the Arsenal supporters leaving?
Trying to beat the tube rush
Better WiFi outside the stadium to send tweets blaming the PGMOL for their draw with Palace.
