Coming up to that time of year again. Racing post preview out on Monday so will do a decent acca once I've had a good read of that, never landed a glove last year with my main acca so hoping for better this year! Had a look at the betting there for the main leagues, Leeds and Birmingham strongly fancied at 3/1 and 2/1. Betfair gave me some 30% multiple bet boosts so did an early acca of: Villa top half finsih, Leeds top 6, Birmingham, Celtic , Inter , Real Madrid outright, MK Dons top 7 @41/1.

Forgot about the pullout with it being a Bank Holiday. Any kind soul willing to summarise like in previous years? Interested in an English league accum - got good run for money last year when the RP hit three from four.

I've just bet Galatasaray to win the 'League Stage' of the Europa League at 18/1, and to finish in the top 8 of the same stage at 6/4

I don't think the bookies have quite as much of a handle on this new format as normal, and some teams seem to be being priced on reputation rather than pricing them based on their fixtures and how likely they are to garner lots of points in this stage.

Galatasaray have drawn arguably the two weakest teams left in the competition in Riga FS and Elfsborg, three other winnable games in PAOK, Malmo and Dynamo Kiev, and managed to bag arguably the weakest pot 1 team in Ajax to complement this list

further more, since the draw was made they signed a top striker in Osimhen, and I don't think many books updated their prices off the back of that

Over half-way through the season and I'm calling time on the league winner bets. Promotion treble still a runner but likely relying on playoffs for Bolton - price for the treble now @ 17/1.

Went in again last week with another bet for rest of the season - trebles and accum.

This one has some legs going into the last couple months of the season. Doncaster and Madrid the main worries. Annoyingly Doncaster blew a 2-0 lead at home to Swindon last week and could have done with Madrid getting knocked out of the CL, but getting a good spin for my money and got a bit of a sweat for the run in.

Doncaster top of league 2 but Barca can't be stopped at the moment. They are currently 1/9 on, I'm hoping they drop some points and the price drops to a point where I can hedge a bit, but I'm not optimistic on this. I'm also gonna do a Barca / Bilbao double for the CL/Europa at 9/1.

Nice odds on bilbao, can't see united getting past them on current form and then you'd have to fancy them against spurs/bodo. Hadn't even looked at the conference league, but you're right 4/11 for chelsea is a horrific price. Gonna do a treble on Barca/Bilbao/Betis , 46/1 on pp currently, worth a small bet.

Doncaster up, all on madrid now. Need barca to drop some points. They have a couple of tricky games in the run in with espanyol , bilbao and el classico. Not optimistic , but still am in with a shout. If barca go to 1/4 ish I'll hedge to lock in some profit.

Leeds and Doncaster win double from the Yankee gives a profit for the season with Newcastle top 4 still in the running for a winning treble from the midseason bets. Will be avoiding Bolton next year - two years in a row I've overestimated them.
