Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
I see The Mary Wallopers postponed there US tour
Wonder will it have any effect on the summer shows. On a related note big loss to the band and he's not the first to have left suddenly with Seamas Hyland leaving unexpectedly a few years back

Did they say why they postponed the US tour?
Wonder are they having visa issues with the new government and their immigration policies
-----
the classic unforeseen circumstances. Don’t think the shows were sold out. Brooklyn shows has availability yesterday before they were cancelled. they were over in late 2023 for first USA tour and sure o1 artists visa for america are initially for 3 years then one year increments.
Can imagine it's not easy live without Mckenna
and sure burn out on that type of activity is bound to happen.
Feels weird talking about December gigs already but Live at St Lukes in Cork announcing their first City Hall gig for this year. Seems to be Frank and Walters.
I wonder will The Pogues do another pre Christmas Dublin gig like last year. There touring for the 40th Anniversary of 'Rum Sodomy & the Lash' this year which is a stronger setlist
Daughter got tickets for gigi perez in national stadium tonight. Anyone have any idea if support and stage times. Can't find anything on line.
And back around US/Canada around this time last year for bigger venues
Hotline TNT in the Workmans Cellar, Tuesday 11th November: https://foggynotions.ie/concerts/concert/hotline-tnt-dublin-2025/
Yank shoegaze and 90s alt rock. A bit poppy for me but i might take a punt on them. I imagine a few folks here would like them.
They play xmas gigs every year, of late, they have been in Cyprus Avenue, and smaller gigs around the city , City Hall, would be a big step up for them
Also, not loud. No more than any other gig.
Better Lovers playing Opium on October 29. Tickets on sale tomorrow for those interested - Every Time I Die/Dillinger Escape Plan fans especially!
Class!
Saw them there yonks ago. I'm sure they've played there a few times over the years. Say with a gig around Christmas and more people back in Cork and meeting up they'll probably get a decent crowd without selling out.
Caught them opening for The Ghost Inside/Underoath/We Came as Romans tour and they were unreal so might try pick up a ticket
I've forgotten which way round the Academy 2 and The Green Room are, which one is the terrible one? 🙈
I'd like to go see A Burial At Sea, but worried about the room...
Academy 2 is the one with the pillars n 3 inch high stage so no view of stage unless ur very tall or up front
Awful venue
Saw them at Green Man last year, they were great.
Fontaines playing in Dublin on May 25th, Guinness gig
21s only unfortunately for myself
Fontaines and lankum playing Guinness storehouse for Guinness. Proceeds to charity. Sign up for ballot to be selected to buy, though probably only handful being sold to general public.
Fingers crossed about that ballot.
Cheers, I'll probably swerve that one then
better odds in getting job at Guinness and getting in that way
PlayStation the concert this Saturday is offering 2 for 1 tickets
'PSTHECONCERT' is the code, this must have sold very badly
offering discount tickets for weeks. Another poster had said that bunch of tour dates got cancelled. less disposable income about for such novelty shows in arenas
Indeed, pretty much all will go to PR companies and influencers, same as previous gigs.
And worse again Guinnfluencers splitting the G..
Probably. What’s the capacity supposed to be I wonder
