give Divanes in Kerry a call and see what they can do. You might save a fee K.
If it was 0% finance you would have been correct.
Nah, still would’ve been wrong ‘cause he’d be paying no interest at all. In that case, I’d suggest giving the lowest deposit possible as why should they have your money early!
Just went back to your initial post. Haha, I'm a gobshite. From memory I thought you said the smallest amount upfront would be the best way to go. I basically made it up in my own head.
Got an email this morning saying my subscription to 'We Connect Plus' is coming to an end and I have to subscribe again. Went on to the VW site and it's looking for €155 to renew it.
I have no idea what We Connect Plus is. Is it more than just being able to check the charge status via mobile phone (the only thing I use the app for). Can I just let it lapse, and will I still be able to check charge status after via the app?
Some info below from a UK based ID.3 Forum, might be cheaper over a 2-3 year term rather an annual fee. I’d miss the remote defrost option in winter. Maybe let it lapse for a bit to see if you really miss whatever features disappear ?
What cables are provided with id3 gtx performance?
Just type 2 cable. No granny cable.
Also depends on inflation
That’s true but when I was trading in my car for the GTX, I asked if I could keep the granny charger and the salesman let me. Not that it’s much use on a car with a 79kWh battery.
Worth having though if you get stuck with a faulty wallbox at home or whatever. Probably get €150+ for it all day too if it’s OEM.
I did the same! 😉
I will be taking the granny cable out of my car before handing back and if asked about it, I never had one to begin with.
I've used the granny cable more than the other one. The north west must be the worst part of the country for charging and I go there a good few times a year.
I borrowed one from my sister's Kona, they wanted it back when she was trading in the car!
I have never used a granny cable once in almost four years of EV ownership.
I used mine once in three years at my brother-in-law's place in Clare, which is more or less a charger desert. Still rather have it than not have it, just in case.
Where are people buying wipers from? Some of the cheaper European websites tend to have mad shipping on them so don't work out any cheaper. Mick's Garage also only have front wipers?
Is this for your Cupra? I had to go to dealership for a rear wiper, it was very cheap though, 15 euro or something like that. They fitted it for me for free too.
Your local motor factors can often be cheapest for decent wiper blades like bosch. Amazon can sometimes be worth a look too but often no cheaper unless you qualify for free delivery.
i’ve used Mister-Auto.ie a few times, to get Bosch wiper blades for my i3, just be very specific about wiper part numbers etc free delivery when you hit aroubd €50’ish. Never had an issue with them, and pricing is good.
Lads ffs micks garage ?
Are robbing B!@#!rds, just use autodoc
Amazon for Bosch front and rear. The standard ones are rubbish, the rear was unbelievably noisy (On my previous ID.3 and current Born)
I got Bosch just last week for a golf for €30 at the local motor factors
it’s very useful if you have a holiday house etc
we plug ours into the mobile home to charge. Much better than paying for a fast charge.
You don’t need to charge from 0-100%
Car arrived in Dublin port at the weekend. Should be ready to collect from the dealers in another few days so close to 12 weeks from ordering to delivery
Was told 12 weeks myself so maybe it will be accurate. Ordered a month after you.
My ID.3 hasn’t synched with app in over 8 days. Car is about 4.5 years old and software is still so glitchy.
Also I have the ID charger connect and never once I have successfully got to connect it to any app. So it’s essentially a dumb charger.
Am I right in saying the front wipers are the same on both sides? Two Bosch AeroTwin and rear wiper coming in at €65 in Mister Auto and Auto Doc. €50 on Amazon with free delivery.
I'm not sure who manufacture Cupra's wipers but the set I got on the service plan were streaking within two months!
Sounds like you need to pull out fuse 19 for 10 minutes. Is your software up to date? I haven’t had that problem since 2.x
116,000kms later still getting similar range to when it was new, 370km from 100% (had 10km left).
Mostly N and R roads
