have we had this one yet?

Clearly a recently renovated job with maximum tenancy in mind, especially with the fire alarm and emergency exit signs. At least it all looks to be above the law in that regard.

Surely that's the whole point of the virtual staging? If you were doing up that house you'd definitely be changing the windows, so that's one idea of what you might put in.
I think it's a great idea for a house that's very hard to visualise from the state it's in.
Seriously? Pretty sure whoever buys this house will be replumbing it.
You won't need to obtain planning to replace front windows.
I was shocked when I seen how many bedrooms were in that house considering it looks tiny from the outside.
Literally no shared living space. Most of the bedrooms don't even have enough room for an armchair or sofa, or a TV! Would you be allowed put one on the wall?
How depressing.
The particulars are incorrect - they state 8 bedrooms, all en-suite, but pictures and plans show one bedroom isn't.
You can't do that with these houses. If you notice the bedroom all have a slopped ceiling. That is because the roof space is partially in the rooms. The actually roof space is very low as a result. You would need to heighten the roof to get a room up there and that is before figuring out where you put a stairs to get up there.
A quick pass over the area with google maps shows quite a few of the same design house with dormer windows (always to the rear). So it appears to be possibly and practical if not hugely beneficial in terms of added floorspace.
I think I posted about this before, but I grew up around the corner from this house and in the very early days these houses had outside toilets. A lot of them still now only have a downstairs toilet.
If you're an outsider moving into this house the last thing you'll be doing is complaining about your neighbours unapproved extensions or home made sunrooms or backyard pigeon lofts unless you want to p!ss a lot of people off😉 If you're a local none of these things will phase you.
None of them are vaguely legal as habitable rooms. I have been in such properties and generally it is a DIY job and extremely low ceiling. You could may be use it as a kids room up until 13 but they won't stand upright in the room after that
I was initially a bit confused too but then I turned the ahem, camera around and saw what the poster was talking about.
I have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking at.
The house opposite the blurred house has multiple CCTV cameras on the front of it.
I could think of nothing more fun than coming back to a c50sqft room where I can't even have my own TV/monitor after a long day of working under a "Return to Office" fetishist.
I have CCTV on the front of mine as well, and I'm not a gangland criminal. I think its a big leap.
As do I. I was just pointing out what the poster had meant.
If you hear of a gangland criminal's address (usually just the road) and look on google maps they're always blurred out!!
Wow. Must unblur mine or someone will think I'm a gangland criminal.
You can't, once you put in the request to Google and they carry it out, it's permanent.

Ok, that's grand.
(Though you'd think it would be an option if a house is sold, and the new owner requested it.)
I think its a shame that the neighbours decided to do away with the faux roman columns from 2022…
I love this one, if only I had another million or so to put into it…. Don't think it's been mentioned before. Hollypark House in Kilcornan
Agreed, its a money-pit, but a very attractive one. Though I hate those marble style floors.
Yes, the tile/marble would be the first to go😁
Looks surprisingly nice inside, not what I was expecting. Outside it looks almost abandoned.
Why did you ask? Just out of interest…
Oh! I know that house, my daughter lives in Kilcornan! Its a fabulous place and there's a very big equestrian centre behind it. Last time I was there the same entrance was being used for horse events and to the house. Surprisingly good value for what you're getting. Its right on the N69 but set back a bit from the road so even though it's a very busy road you probably wouldn't notice . Stunning!
Someone is a big fan of Eddie Rockets…

Kip's is the right name for it
Remarkable (if that's the word I'm looking for) attention to detail inside, obviously they shut their eyes when they go outside until they get to the gate.
And on a point of order, it's "Shake Dog" down here in the south east I'll have you know.
